VIRTUAL ARABIAN TREK
• With Iago the Parrot as your guide, listen to the annoying voice of Gilbert Gottfried yell at you till you feel like punching him as you venture across a virtual sea of sand – created in the computer with poor graphics and a cheap attempt to fool the consumer into thinking its actual footage of Arabia!

MAKING THE MOVIE
• Enjoy the all-new, comprehensive, in-depth look behind the scenes of Aladdin, with your host: Gilbert Gottfried! It lasts a whole 9 minutes!

VIRTUAL GALLERIES
• Tour the vast closet full of pictures with a tour guide to comment on the artwork for you. That’s right . . . its Gilbert Gottfried!

TRAILERS
• Since your kids have short attention spans, we’ve made it easy on the parents by not having the full movie release trailers, but rather a 20 second clip of the trailer for the “Whole New World” Rap Music video performed by Disney Channel’s “Whole New Stars”!

SPECIAL MESSAGE FROM MICHEAL EISNER
• Sit back relax, and listen to Micheal Eisner talk of his plans to redo all Disney films in CGI, abolish the original versions, discontinue making-ofs and only release games on the DVDs, and to top it off, families can watch with delight as he flips off film fans and moons them with his big, fat, gleaming white butt!

LUKE: LMAO!

But seriously, I do like Gilbert Gottfried in Aladdin. He's funny and all, but he can get annoying at times.

You bastard :D

I got excited there for a minute. Although "embelishy" gave it away instantly :D I like that word though!

And stop bashing Gilbert Gottfried. His Patrick Swayze in 'Clerks: The Animated Series' (released by Miramax) was uncanny :)

This was not amusing.

And, oh, yeah, another thing - Aladdin is due out on October 5th, 2004, not the sixth. Next year's got 366 days in it, thank you very much.

Oh, stop being so anal, Jake. Yeesh - gawd forbid anyone ever make fun of the sacred Platinum Editions.

Very funny "press release", Jack!! I especially liked the riff on "Morning Report" with "Abu Is A Great Pet", and its "Making Of..." featurette.
Seriously, though - those specs are eerily close to (what will probably be) the truth - kind of a depressing omen of sorts. :-P

Uh, yeah...hence the big :D smilie next to the 'You bastard'.

I know it is hard to believe, but even my backwards brain understood that this was a (very poor) joke.

I thought the big grin was like a big angry grin like "Look at my teeth - GRRRRR." ;)

And it's actually pretty funny (and scarily on-target with Disney exec's thinking) once you accept the fact it's a joke. Bravo, Jack. You're still banned, though. ;)
