DUCKTALES TREASURE OF THE LOST LAMP - COMING TO DVD

Post by That1GuyPictures »

According to page 10 of the Disney Movie Club Holiday Gift Guide, the films Jumping Ship, Smart House, Ducktales: Treasure of the Lost Lamp, and The Horse Without A Head are coming soon to DVD. I'm assuming they will all be presented in 2.0 and 1.33:1 since they are Disney Movie Club exclusives.

Interesting that they're starting to do movies that aren't on DVD anywhere as far as I know, like The Horse Without a Head. While the TV movies are safe as far as the aspect ratio, the fullscreen/chapter & extra-less treatment has got to go. Then they'll have my approval!

Nope, unfortunetly. I thought Disney was going to release "Treasure of the Lost Lamp" onto DVD on the same day as DuckTales: Volume 1, I guess not. :(

Hmm DuckTales Movie and Smart House may just be what gets me to join this club. Though I've been considering it for a while.

<img src="http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y171/S ... USIVES.jpg" alt="Image hosted by Photobucket.com">

YEAH!!!! 2 MORE DCOMs ON DVD!!!! Is it worth buying them? All I've heard is negative things about the DMC Exclusives. Is the quality bad, or are they just missing inserts and chapters?

I hope Smart House and DuckTales are released onto DVD in Canada soon, I can't wait any longer.

Maybe in about six months, Disney will release DuckTales: The Movie to DVD like they did with Benji and Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken. :)

Stupid Disney! :roll:

You never know about the Ducktales DVD release, they may just lift the UK\AUS edition (That's Where the DVD art is from), which was in widescreen.

Any idea on when they are going to make this available? I don't see it on the site.

I really want the Ducktales movie. When it's released I'd very much appreciate someone who's a member to get it for me. I'd pay all expenses of course! :D

They might not be part of the DMC.

Yeah. I live in the states but I'm not a member of the DMC. I don't even buy that many Disney movies for it to be worthwhile to join.
