Some tidbits-
~ Sam is named after Samson, Prince Philip's horse.
~ Robert and his daughter have Philip as a last name.
~ Nancy's last name is Tremaine. (This I don't understand. Nancy isn't a villain, nor is she even a 'gray area' Anastasia Tremaine archetype like Nathaniel, who I wouldn't complain about sharing a happily ever after with- I swear I'm insane. Why give her this surname?)

That's hot.

Well, actually Cinderella's surname is Tramine (DisneyKid said that he found that in a Disney Trivia game).Prudence wrote:I noticed.akhenaten wrote:doesnt anyone notice she mimicks dopey when she puts the jewels at her eyes?

That would make sense since Cinderella's stepmother married to a man whose last name must have been Tremaine. Therefore, Cinderella's real name must be Ella Tremaine. Great movie! Its a shame that they didn't include a couple of scenes that were in the previews. I was waiting for the scene where the bus driver chases the prince after stabbing the roof of her bus. The other is the prince in the revolving door and he said "What villany is this!?" I know deleted footage makes into the trailers but these were really funny scenes. Oh well, it was a good movie anyway.

There is not a real "driver-chasing-prince" scene in the preview, it's just the driver going out of the bus, then the prince getting on a car (which in the movie he does when he first arrives in NYC) with a voice-over from the driver. So, the preview tricks you into thinking the driver chases him, but she doesn't!Maerj wrote:Great movie! Its a shame that they didn't include a couple of scenes that were in the previews. The scene with the door was in the movie... and not in any preview I saw!

I regret to inform you that those scenes in the trailers were merely edited from actual scenes in the movie.
the bus driver yelling was merely a voice-over that was part of the confrontation at the bus.
the prince running into traffic was shown right after he got out of the manhole.
the revolving door gag was there but edward doesnt say anything.
the "villainy" line was uttered when he saw Giselle with Robert in the "magic mirror"

Well this is going to be a spoiler of my favorite disney reference...
I loved how right before Robert kisses Giselle he says to her something along the lines of, "please don't leave me" which is what Belle says to the beast right before he turns into a man in Beauty and the Beast.
I've seen this movie twice, and I'm planning on going to see it again this week. I absolutely love it!!! Good Job Disney! I'm really excited to see what else is in store!

It's great to hear you all enjoy seeing Enchanted so much. I'm definitely going to watch this movie, but I have to wait till 13 December.
I don't really care about the merchandise or the lack thereof. I saw almost every Disney animated movie of the nineties in cinema, but the merchandise back then was really overkill, making the movies allmost like a banal affair. I think that's a shame. I think it's good if Disney is restraining itself in this respect.

There is also one for the Stars and Motercars Parade at Disney MGM-Studios. And Giselle is doing meet-and-greets and the El Capitan theatre (in Hollywod), which also has nice merchandise you can't buy at the Disney store.Poody wrote:I donno if this has been mentioned, though the photos were posted. There is a mini "pre-parade" at Disneyland for Giselle and Enchanted.
