on the other hand I had a feeling the hoped for rumors that Hans would be the one to break Elsa's cold heart & theyd end up together wouldnt come to pass. Doing that would have negated the importance of this being the sisters story & Anna being the one who had to turn Elsa, not some random dude.
I see a lot of revisionist fanfic in the future for this film.
I am so disappointed about the spoilers. It's not that Elsa doesn't get a guy. It's that Hans is poorly introduced as a villain. The last pages seem poorly written and anti-climatic.Usually endings are fleshed out. It doesn't even make sense according to the previous spoilers. Previous spoilers said that Hans was wanted to talk to Elsa about his proposal to Anna. There was also a scene where Hans over heard the Duke's plans. And where the fuck is the Duke in these pages?
I am sad....
Can we tweet Jennifer Lee about this?Usually WDAS doesn't release this kind of stuff officially. This was the one thing I didn't want to know about the movie. It would be okay if Hans just settled down to be Elsa's co-worker,but this is just bad.bad.bad.bad.bad.

Yeah, that would have been utterly awful.
CandyBonita, you might want to spoiler tag that last bit.
I'm glad there's another sexy male villain! Can't believe people are disappointed by it. First of all, the writing was on the wall. Second of all, his character would have been pretty pointless otherwise. A double romance would have been worse.
well my hope now is that Hans ends up a likeable misunderstood villain(from rumors looks like he got a rough treatment from his family) type like Hades & isnt actually killed at the end, just defrosted & jailed. He can be Disney's first Draco in Leather Pants.

The bit about his family problems and desire to stand out might well be true and is hinted at but he is still a Grade A asshole. Don't think he dies though.

Oh god, I swear the Tumblr Frozen fanbase basically exploded and there are few survivors left. I can't tell if that's a good thing or a bad thing at this point.
Also, am I one of the few who thinks that Han really couldn't have been anything else beside a villain without being an awful character? He was set up from introduction as a perfect princely figure whom essentially amounts to a male Mary-Sue. If he wasn't a villain, I don't know how he'd amount to anything. Unless the movie was about him, I doubt he'd get enough decent character development to be a "good character", and would probably just be used as a plot point rather than an actual character. Even worse if he ended up with Elsa. It's one thing being a prince charming character in a fairy tale where everyone is a flat character, but if every other character is complex and has flaws except him, that's just horrible writing.
However, him being the villain is kind of a cool plot twist, even if it is rushed and predictable. I literally only read that single page where he reveals that he's using Anna, and that seemed to come out of nowhere (then again, this was the only page I read). Still, it adds a better conflict than "random duke wants money". Don't nay-say until the movie is actually out.
Although it would literally be cool if instead of doing it for power, he instead wanted to use Elsa's powers (I'm patting myself on the back for that wordplay). For some reason. At least it would be less cliche than wanting simply power, but hey, I ain't complainting.
Also, Hans villain song would be awesome and if there's one thing that I need in this film, it's that.

Elsa somehow ends up freezing Anna's heart, requiring true love to cure it.
She returns to Arendelle, believing that Hans is the one to cure her......
but Hans, in his bid for power, pretends that Anna had been killed by Elsa and uses this as a justification to attack Elsa.
Kristoff returns to Anna who is still dying.
Anna saves Elsa from Hans , getting frozen by Elsa's powers in the process. However, this act of self-sacrifice constituted true love and cured her.
Happily ever after[/spoiler]
I may end up liking this film after all. Surprise, surprise. Now if we could just get confirmation that Olaf will die at the end, I'd be fully on board.
I like that they have an attractive villain for once. I think Hans will have the same problem as most of their male villains; their motivation is rarely personal, just some vague "power," so they rarely leave an impact unless they really go crazy like Jafar or have some kind of humor like Hades. I kind of knew Hans must be a villain after that spoiler that he approaches Elsa at her ice castle, which made no sense if he wasn't after something.

I know we're very excited and anxious for the plot of Frozen, but if I may be so bold, I think this spoiler alert madness is getting way out of hand. I mean, we don't know what's going on the storyline of this movie. We already heard of some the scenes that people saw at D23 convention, but we don't know what the whole story is going to be like. Besides, some of these spoiler information maybe false. So, I think we need to wait for the movie to come in theaters. After all, the wait is only for three months.
It is most likely true, I'd say a 95 percent chance. The new stills of the film that we got came from the back of this leaked book, someone could possibly have made up the story, however unlikely but there is no way they could come up with those images otherwise.
Jennifer Lee is simply trying to reassure fans, especially the ones who contacted her directly, that they haven't been spoiled in case it affects their enjoyment of the film. She certainly won't be confirming the spoilers under any circumstances.

Agreed, I'm excited for Frozen as much as the next person, but I want to go into the movie with an open mind and not knowing the entire plot in my head already.
Okay, final post from me today. And don't worry, no spoilers.
Just who the heck agreed to posting previews of the ENDING? Especially considering the print book doesn't come out until October, and the movie in November?
