Goodness, that's quite different ... reminds me of the Japanese one from a few years ago. I like it, bar the clip art at the bottom; the line drawing is very pretty.

I notice its the same old over art on the spine for the sequels ... had hoped it would have changed by now ? Or is it just a placeholder?

Oh, really ? It's pretty, but had hoped for an original piece of artwork for the cover, much like Cinderella's had ..... thank you for posting though !

It's annoying that 'Ariel's Beginning' has been given the 'III' treatment, when it had so far avoided being tagged with it in the previous UK release.

In Germany, we'll get the same trilogy set as the UK, but also an additional Collector's Digibook Edition:

Ariel looks like a slut once again but it's much better than the UK set from an aesthetic perspective.

You are both right. I think I'll buy it nevertheless for the background info, the sketches and the sequels. In addition to that, I'll import the US edition because of the 3D version, which isn't coming to Europe (for now).

Is there info about the insides of this? I wanted to support the old German dub release anyway

Hmm is that a temp version of the clip art, or the real deal? As Ariel looks beyond off model here?!

And are we really stuck with the same old covers for the sequels again ?! :x

In Jäger-Rose's post above me and the French trilogy cover a few posts back, the added animation frame of Ariel makes it even more obvious how off-model she is. I don't see why Disney can't hire freelance artists who can draw on model.

:o  I love it. This is one the few Disney trilogies in which I like all three movies, so naturally I'll be getting this beauty. And as for the cover artwork, I think it's pretty decent. :D thanks for sharing, Jäger-Rose

Can I request a bluray full torrent of this movie when it comes out? I'm scared of not getting it and I don't even have a bluray player :P

Speaking on behalf as just an ordinary member here, this website, and other forums, does not support piracy, so chances of a link to a torrent would be neglected. Whenever you can, try to support the official release. Otherwise, do not ask anything piracy-related here. (not being harsh though, so don't get offended on what I just stated.)
This is DisneyFTW1, a former Youtube account that was terminated by Disney themselves. My current Youtube Account is FilmFTW2 (FilmFTW1 was terminated). Youtube sucks when it comes to film uploads, and it sucks even more when major corporations are following your channels. But what can I do?

I reckon you should invest in the blu release just for longevity; who knows with Disney when it will come round again. That's what I did before I had a blu player; I purchased the blu copy that had the DVD also included. Though sadly, the UK Disney no longer does that. Still worth the purchase for you though I think !

Well, there's another reason I won't buy it, my country (Argentina) :P
There's almost nothing coming from "Out there". (I feel like Quasimodo, Ariel, Belle. "I want mooooooore" )
And if there's something imported...that'll be really expensive. However, if any of you have the chance to buy it and collect it, do it. The quality is way better, you can have the slipcover, and all that nice stuff! I'd do it if I could. Thanks for the advice!

Really, does it cost that much more to import them?? That's such a shame, feel sorry for you :(
