Why thank you. I don't get told I'm hot very often, so it's always nice to be told that. The closest I get is my Mum telling me I look nice or that I'm handsome but she's just being bias, 1 because I'm her baby and 2 because otherwise she'd be questioning her geneticssingerguy04 wrote:
Disney Duster & Nick Bryant- Wow, i never realized UD members were this hot, haha.

Ah, I couldn't bear to! I would be like the Huntsman!Nick Bryant wrote:please don't poison me!

LOL, I was just messing with ya!Disney Duster wrote:Matt, NO wtf you're not ugly AT ALL, but I have seen much cuter pictures of you and in person you were even cuter. I do like weight on guys so perhaps weight did have something to do with it but I bet you're still cute anyway. You're cute, but some pictures don't do you justice, and I like more lookin' at ya in person. We should hang out again!

Well, the park-hopper tickets they give are usually just one-days, not multi-days. From Christmas 2005 to Christmas 2007, I would get two one-day park hoppers every six months just like singerguy. I was surprised they sent it out for Christmas 2007, I guess even being a castmember for two weeks (and subsequently being fired) in the calendar year still qualifies you for that special Christmas gift!Mike wrote:I could go to Disney for free every 6 months, just pay for the plane to fly and the place to stay?
It's more to love, Mike. More cushion for the pushin'.Mike wrote:I just find myself really liking the chub for some reason...

It's nice that your boyfriend is into Disney and will do stuff with you like that. My last g/f was so into herself, and the "party" scene...I'm working on a nice girl now, hopefully she shares this with me too ;p.
You guys look so happy though!

Yes.Mike wrote:Thanks Escapay!
So if I saved up my tickets I could go for two days for free ever year?
Any area where guests can see you is considered "onstage". The areas that are Castmembers-Only is "backstage". For example, the tunnels (that aren't really tunnels, but that's a bit complicated to explain) is a "backstage" area. However, during those tours when guests are allowed in certain areas of a tunnel, that section is then considered "onstage" and castmembers have to act accordingly (my oft-mentioned Cinderella story fits perfectly here, as she had to remain in character when in front of the guests, but as soon as they were out of her sight, she could go back to being a regular ole castmember).Mike wrote:By the way, what do you mean "onstage" area?
Yes. But that's something that has to be done either quickly or without anyone noticing. Plus, most security guards know that castmembers may change in a backstage area of the park, then head down to the tunnels to go to the locker room for something. So even though they do try to make sure that no playing-on-a-day-off castmember just goes through the tunnels and backstage areas (there's a variety of reasons, some of which include regular traffic, others include safety), they also know that there are castmembers who need to use them even when they are playing.Mike wrote:Can you just go in your normal clothes with the cast members, then run off into the park and do whatever because the security guards will probably forget they saw you and you won't even be around them?
I went back just for vacation, and that was quite surreal (walking around in Magic Kingdom and only being allowed in onstage areas). But I'd go back again in a minute, even if the crappy management was still there.Mike wrote:And you know, I somehow must have forgotten you got fired, probably because you went back...well, you can explain in E-mail...

Whenever I feel like I'm losing the Christmas Spirit, I just pick up my worn-out copy of Skipping Christmas by John Grisham and read it until I feel Christmassy again. Usually it only takes a chapter or two but sometimes I end up reading the whole book in one sitting. Works every time. Nothing says "I'm in the Christmas Spirit" like a book about two people who choose to boycott the holidays and end up getting criticized for it by everyone they know. 2007 was a bad year for me and that holiday season (October, November, December), I must've read the book more times in those three months than I had since I got the book in 2003. Thankfully, this year, I've only read it probably three or four times, which shows that I'm either too busy to think about the Christmas Spirit or that I'm too much in the Christmas Spirit to get out of it and pick up the book to feel better.
So do I! I plan to re-read it when I'm done with Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (my fave of that series) again just because it's started to be a kind of tradition since the Summer of '04 when waiting for the film, and every Christmas since. I still like Christmas with the Kranks, my family seems to have it in high regard, for some reason, placing it in with Home Alone and Christmas Vacation, but I'll be damned if the book is not leagues better. In any case, long live Luther Krank!Escapay wrote: Whenever I feel like I'm losing the Christmas Spirit, I just pick up my worn-out copy of Skipping Christmas by John Grisham and read it until I feel Christmassy again.
