Love that noir stuff...I have plenty of recommendations if you are interested. Unfortunate about no SE DVD, but it was easily worth $10 that I paid for it.Chinatown - Definitely one of the better movies I've seen in a long time. Absolutely riveting. Remarkable acting and a very tightly executed plot! I can definitely see why it's such a film noir classic. I want to own this on DVD, but I have a feeling a SE will come as soon as I do.
What a coincidence, I also watched it!Big Worms wrote:Land of the Dead - Liked it more than I thought I was going to.
Yeah, everything John Waters does is gender-bending by one degree or another. But I wasn't saying they were horror films, they were just among the last non-Disney movies I watched. I finally was able to add Female Trouble and Pink Flamingos to my collection with my Birthday money and had an itching to watch JW's whole catalog. I always think of his films as more Thanksgiving fare. But they were just too tempting the resist.dvdjunkie wrote:Pretty good list of movies there Lazario except I wouldn't consider the John Waters films as horror films. They are gender-bending classics. Good list though.
