Remember that even the 2D clipart of the Disney Princesses we see today are actually digitally painted and even have perfect computer made sheens, shines, and shades.
But if you look at the close-up of Rapunzel on that calendar cover a few pages back, or that really big image of Rapunzel (where we first saw her huge eyes, and enigmawing removed the watermarks) we can clearly see it also has been painted, perhaps on a computer, but still, by hand, meant to look like it's painted by oil or some other paint...
You know, doesn't this whole thing cover the idea that they are trying to make CG look like hand-painted images, and this is just further proof they are accomplishing that by blurring the lines? Some people paint or even draw pictures so well we think they are photographs! This is a similar kind of thing...

Well, regardless of Rapunzel's design or even the fact that we haven't seen very much to judge her body/face/movement by, I've thought her hair has looked fantastically "painterly." But that's all I'm conceding.

Listening to most often lately:
Christina Aguilera ~ "Cruz"
Sombr ~ "homewrecker"
Megan Moroney ~ "Beautiful Things"

K I have no idea if this is legitimate at all, but I went to the wikipedia page for Rapunzel and they have a new section for music and this is what they have listed:
Alone in a Tower - Mandy Moore (Rapunzel)
My Childhood - Mandy Moore (Rapunzel)
Escape and be Free - (Flynn Ryder and Rapunzel)
Her Long Hair - (Flynn Ryder)
The Secret of Tower - Various Artist
And by the way didn't Disney's facebook page say a while back that they would have new material soon?...Yeah thanks Disney...for nothing!

Yay Divinity!
I don't believe that list it sounds fake as can be. Where's "You are my Forever"?
Oh and sorry enigmawing but I do not think Rapunzel has fit as easily into your style. But I think it is really because you have not seen enough of her or good, accurate, all on-model images of her. However your other renderings of Disney heroines have turned out great, beautiful, and cute. Like Tiana and Alice!

When I go to St. Louis Community College at Wildwood, Missouri, they DO NOT take kindness to Wikipedia. I was about to collect some materials from Wikipedia for my assignments, but they told me that Wikipedia collects sources from other sources, besides their own. But I could not help myself using Wikipedia. I understand that Wikipedia collects sources from other sources than their own, but it is so useful (at least I did not use it for my assignments, because they would give me an, "F," for finding sources that is not their own). You can even put sources on Wikipedia yourself, saying something like this for example, "Polizzi would not stop complaining about the stupid title change from Rapunzel to Tangled! We in UltimateDisney.com understand that the name change is dumb, but there is no way in this whole world is going to make Disney change their mind!" However, the owners of Wikipedia can remove sources that is either unnecessary or not yet revealed. In fact, in Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)," according to Wikipedia, there used to be a full cast and characters that are listed before, but then was diminished into three casts and characters: Mandy Moore as Rapunzel, Zachary Levi as Flynn Rider, and Donna Murphy as Madame Gothel. I do not know when Wikipedia is going to reveal the full cast and characters of Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)," probably when Disney has all the materials ready in advanced. By the way, I took the liberty of saving all the full casts and characters in my external hardrive before Disney's title change. Here it is:
• Rapunzel – Mandy Moore
• Flynn Ryder – Zachary Levi
• Madame Gothel – Donna Murphy
• Narrator – Chris Collins
• Grandma Claire – Pam Hyatt
• Young Flynn Ryder – Matthew Gray Gubler
• Young Rapunzel – Erin Fitzgerald
• Mother Amy – Carolyn Lawrence
• Grandpa Franklin – Peter Sallis
• Father Sam – David Schwimmer
• Cousin John – Gilbert Gottfried
• Muffin Man – Jim Cummings
• Darker the Warlock – Kevin Michael Richardson
• Uncel Jordan – John Goodman
• Flynn's brother – Derek Stephen Prince
• Rapunzel's sister – Edie Mirman
• Bill McKnight – David Cross
• Professor "Timothy" Boomerang – Jason Alexander
• Molly McKnight – Susan Sheridan
• Aunt Sally – Carol Burnett
Please note: there are still more characters that Disney has listed, but I did not get a chance to save them. Looks like we'll just have to wait until it is revealed. By the way, some casts may vary.

Yes, I know. But I wish I could have thought about that in the first place...maybe. So what do you think of the list of cast and characters that I have shown to you and the rest of the Disney fans, unless it has already been shown, then I did not know?Disney Duster wrote:Polizzi, if you look, usually towards the bottom of the Wikipedia pages, you can see that sometimes they list sources with information that is researched and accurate or official that you can use in assignments.

I do not believe any of that list either! Most of those roles are obviously not going to be in the film, and never were going to be. That list is mostly ridiculous.

The first three (Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi, and Donna Murphy) are confirmed, and I'm generally happy with those choices. Most of the rest are obviously false but interesting. I enjoy Matthew Gray Gubler on "Criminal Minds" (though I didn't really recognize his voice as Simon in the Alvin and the CGImunks), he's got a good quirky-ness to his voice that could fit well with an animated character (though I can't imagine why he'd have to play Young Flynn, especially as he's the same age as Levi). And you can't go wrong with John Goodman, Jim Cummings, Peter Sallis, Susan Sheridan, and Carol Burnett! *sigh* if only those were confirmed too...

Sounds reaaaaaaally fake! Those songtitles are WAY too obvious, in a sense that only a fan could have made these up. Alan Menken and his songwriter will probably be WAY more imaginative then this list...Babaloo wrote:K I have no idea if this is legitimate at all, but I went to the wikipedia page for Rapunzel and they have a new section for music and this is what they have listed:

that song list on wikipedia is beyond stupid. in the D23 interview they hinted at only one possibly title that is known so far and that was "my forever". Which is sung at different moments in the film by different characters. Mother Gothel makes it her villain song while it also functions as a love song between Flynn and Rapunzel.
that's, from what I know, all available info on the music. Wikipedia is so full of crap. "my childhood"... wasn't that some awful Michael Jackson song.

I most certainly agree, but those characters that Disney made to tell you truth, are starting to interest me.supertalies wrote:Indeed, those would be great. But the characters from that list Polizzi posted....don't you think they sound kinda..weird? I mean: Darker the Warlock? Really?
And still, if they're true (which I know they're not) then where would they be placed in the Rapunzel story?

Yeah, saw the cast list awhile ago. You know, I gotta hand it to them, they've changed it. They used to have "Sandy Plankton" as an actor, as well as Wayne Allwine, like, a month after he died.
Anyway, yeah, I'm pretty sure that's a fake song list. When we really do hear about the songs, I've a feeling that the first one we'll hear about is "You Are My Forever," just because it's the one we already have heard of. Or, Rapunzel's "I want" song, if she has one (and she'd better!).
