I noticed that too. I hope they differentiate it more but from what we know it's already too similar, unfortunately. I'm also not fond that Anna's arc revolves around a guy and a romantic relationship again.
D82 wrote:It's called "All Is Found".
Thanks! It's clear the lyrics function as a riddle or a key to solve the mystery of the kingdom's past than anything else. It seems closer, conceptually-speaking, to Healing Incantation from Tangled than Noble Maiden Fair from Brave or Remember Me from Coco. Its purpose is more practical in the narrative than emotional.
D82 wrote:Yeah, that poster is really uninspired. It doesn't even look like a poster; it looks more like a wallpaper or something like that.
It looked more like a lithograph than a traditional poster. The characters were CG but the environment looked like it was made out of paper or something. It was basically the theatrical poster but slightly changed. Very lazy. There's so much art made for the film. Couldn't they had given us something new?
Clindor wrote:Well, the lullaby sung by queen is just your average lullaby. I don’t think there is too much to say about it.. There is no instrumental accompaniment (or at least not in the two scenes they showed and where it appears).
So it was sung acapella by the Queen? That's odd. I hope the soundtrack version is not like that.
D82 wrote:More interviews with the cast and crew:
Why Elsa Doesn’t Have a Love Interest in Frozen 2
No kidding! I can't believe people online actually believed Disney would make Elsa a lesbian. Of course, those fabricated reports claiming this was truly happening only fanned the flames. Disney's too cowardly to do such a thing. They're not going to risk alienating a significant part of their audience worldwide and hurt the film's box office potential.
D82 wrote:Description of "Into the Unknown" and some of the song's lyrics.
They lyrics have me intrigued. I'm looking forward to listening to the song even more now.
D82 wrote:Descriptions and lyrics of the song "Some Things Never Change".
The fact it's fall-themed and seems to be a generic friendship song doesn't really entice me but I still might like it if the melody's nice.
D82 wrote:In the first video, Jennifer Lee reveals that her favorite song is one that comes very late in the film. And in the last one, producer Peter Del Vecho says that Idina Menzel sings two songs in the movie.
OK, so far we have:

1. All Is Found (Iduna)
2. Some Things Never Change (ensemble)
3. Into the Unknown (Elsa)
4. The Next Right Thing (Anna)
5. Kristoff solo
6. Elsa solo
7. ???
unprincess wrote:Even if he is in the film, it probably will be a very small cameo, b/c I can tell you, that tons and I mean TONS of merch have leaked onto Discord and Tumblr for weeks now and there's not been a single sign of him anywhere. It just feels very unlikely he'll have much presence in the film, if at all.
That's true. If his part was significant, there would be at least some new merch of him. It's disappointing. I was hoping he'd continue be the villain in the sequel. There's a lot they could still do with him. It's seems now there won't be a villain at all. Just obstacles the heroes must overcome. How dull.
D82 wrote:Snippet of a song sung by Anna titled "The Next Right Thing".
I didn't really like it but that's probably because it was just the beginning of the song (or so I presume). I'm sure the chorus will be much better.

I don't know, I think the romantic relationship will be mostly Kristoff's arc, while hers will be more about finding herself. Speaking of Anna, a new description about her has been leaked:
Anna loves her sister, but she worries about her. In fact, she spends so much time running after Elsa, she sometimes doesn't notice when other people are trying to get closer to her. Anna will need to find her own strength in order to stay strong when everything seems to be falling apart.

Yes, it's true. I wish they had disguised it more as a lullaby, and wouldn't have made it so obvious it was just a clue for the sisters to find answers about their past.

I don't think those rumors will stop. Especially after this image was leaked (spoilers).

At the D23 Expo they showed a clip when Anna tries to calm down Elsa about the voices she's been hearing, and then she sings to her the lullaby their mother sang: "All Is Found"

And some details from the press event that took place today at the studio:
The cast and crew of @DisneyFrozen have been pouring their heart and soul into the making of #Frozen2 for four years!

Is there such a thing as happily ever after? How do you cope when life changes? Elsa explores these questions in #frozen2.

Film markers took a research trip to Finland, Norway and Iceland.

There seems to be a role reversal for the sisters. Anna is more nervous as Elsa forges ahead.

There are more scenes and interactions between the sisters in this film.

More lyrics from "Into the Unknown":
I can hear you but I won't
Some look for troubles while others don't
There's a thousand reasons I should go about my day
And ignore your whispers which I wish would go away

Everyone I've ever loved is here within these walls
I'm sorry secret siren but I'm blocking out your calls
...
Don't you know there's part of me that longs to go into the unknown?

This made me chuckle. I know it's unintentional but I just imagined Elsa blocking calls on her cell phone. :P

It's true! It looks similar to that poster. I wonder if it was intentional.

Idina Menzel has revealed the title of her second song in the movie, "Show Yourself". I'll update the list of the songs we know so far to include it:

1. "All Is Found" (Iduna)
2. "Some Things Never Change" (ensemble)
3. "Into the Unknown" (Elsa)
4. "Show Yourself" (Elsa)
5. "The Next Right Thing" (Anna)
6. Kristoff solo
7. ???
- "All Is Found" reprise (Anna)

I can only guess "Show Yourself" is Elsa talking to the voice referenced in "Into the Unknown" that's been calling to her, after she's sought it out.

now there's an article stating that the film is actually set in...1886. :? I think it was an interview with Menzel. Disney just doesn't care about accuracy anymore, do they. The fashions will now be even more inaccurate than before since this was around the time they wore the tight corsets with tiny waists and big bustles(think Jane in Tarzan.)

Idina Menzel talks about Frozen 2 in a new interview:
You’ll be singing in the sequel, Frozen 2, when you return as Elsa. Is "Into the Unknown" the next "Let It Go"?

"Into the Unknown," and then there’s another song called "Show Yourself," which is pretty spectacular as well. Everyone always asks is it the next "Let it Go"? That's lightning in a bottle. All I know is this music really moved me when I heard it, and it moved me more when I was interpreting it.

Do the film's sisters go on a quest to find their origins?

Elsa has a calling. She's hearing this voice that’s sort of calling her into the unknown. And it's kind of a quest to unveil some secrets of their past, but even more so to understand who she is and why she has the power she does, and what her purpose is in the world.

How gratifying is it to play a princess who isn't reliant on a prince?

I was just with [Frozen co-star] Kristen Bell, and we get a lot of satisfaction out of it, kind of like Wicked as well, where we're two female leads. We don't need romantic love, necessarily, to tell us who we are and complete us. It's about family and loyalty and supporting people to be their pure authentic selves. That's true love, that's unconditional love.

It seems Anna's and Elsa's party outfits (I don't know how to call them) could be actually worn by them at the beginning of the movie, instead of at the end as we thought: https://twitter.com/Fans_of_Frozen/stat ... 9104119810

I'm assuming the girls will be wearing loads of outfits in the film purely for merchandise reasons

They seem to have quite a few so far, especially when you consider they had the x2 shorts as well with outfits a-plenty.

Oh, I love these posters you’ve posted, Sotiris. They’re so pretty! I think this one and the Onward one are my favorites. I think the Maleficent and Mulan ones would've benefited with more than one color dominating the whole thing, the way the Onward poster combines blue and purple.

I like them too. By the way, why is the moon featured in all of them? Is it because of some Chinese festivity?

EDIT: I've found out the posters were made on occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival. That's why the moon is featured in all of them.

I’m happy to learn that "Some Things Never Change" is one of the opening songs... because it didn’t sound like an unforgettable song to me at the expo (compared to the songs of the first movie). And my first assumption was that it was going to be a song for the finale.
