I don't know if anyone has found quality scans of the D23 article about Frozen, but here's a summary:
Summary of D23’s Frozen Article - “A Winter’s Tale” (courtesy of Sarah Smith)

-Director Chris Buck has brought experience from Pocahontas, The Little mermaid, and Tarzan

-Director Jennifer Lee has brought experience from Wreck-it Ralph

-Walt Disney himself originally came up with the concept, but it wasn’t until Chris Buck pitched it again in 2008 that it became a reality

-Research was conducted in Canada and Norway to come up with the aesthetic foundations of Frozen

-Elsa will be performing a song called “Let it Go,” and is “not a traditional villain in any way. She’s so much more complex.”

-Kristen Bell (voice of Anna) describes Anna as “excitable, clumsy, and heartfelt.” She also says that - while the film features a love story - the primary theme of the film is the importance of family, as well as overcoming fears, and not taking yourself too seriously.

-Idina Menzel (voice of Elsa) describes Elsa as “powerful, vulnerable, reborn, painter, sculptor of snow and ice.” She praises Elsa’s song “Let it Go,” and (in regards of the film) says that “It’s important not to compromise who we are. The more we’re in touch with our own truth and the less we hide, the stronger we can be for others. An act of true love can come in many forms, but first we have to be honest with ourselves.”

-“Frozen is the most elaborate costume-animated CG film to date. The detail is incredible.”

-Lino DiSalvo - head of animation - says that “We got into animation because of films like The Little Mermaid and The Lion King. Those are the iconic films. We’re working on the type of film this studio was built on. It’s a very big movie with an epic feel. The characters feel bigger than life. It’s just special. And I can’t wait for Disney fans to see this film.”

So, it is true that Disney himself wanted to make a story about the Snow Queen. It makes me wonder how many adaptions of stories that Walt wanted to do in his lifetime but never could do? You know what if they could adapt another Hans Anderson story I hope its the Little Fir Tree. I could see it working as a short and because I saw some footage of abandoned plans to adapt it.

Oh that's cool, I like the fact they went back to the Disney Archives for this.

And Marc Davis originally wanted to make/design a Disneyland/world darkroom boat ride attraction about the Snow Queen.

Here's the concept art for it:

A better video of Anna and Elsa (Elsa looks badass!)

I wonder if the music is similar to the score of the movie?

You know what? The music sounds like part of a score that would be in a loop in a DVD menu. (I know, weirdest comparison ever) It may be part of the score! I don't know

Can you say SPOILERS?

Someone found the first pages of the Frozen Junior Novelization and "Anna's Icy Adventure". And I should probably stop right there.

Just know that I didn't steal them. Repeat: I DID NOT STEAL THEM. They're on the website (for now anyway...)

EDIT: Also a bit more info on Olaf's song:
While I don’t have the song for you today, because it was released at the D23 Expo in a no photography and no recording session, I can give you a sense of the style. The song was a combination of slapstick and vaudeville style comedy that has Josh Gad, the voice of Olaf, singing about how much sense it makes for extreme hot and cold to mix.

At one point in the song Olaf walks up to a puddle and starts to look a little sad, but then he just yells out something like, “what’s that?” and goes back to singing.

So I'm confused, I think I missed something, this line from the novelization: 'Did I mention I has a single streak of white hair? I was born with it, although I dreamed I was kissed by a troll. Was this something I just missed?

The troll erased Anna's memories so maybe that's why she thinks she was born with it.
Ok, I'll stop reading spoiler since...NOW. (If I let myself do so)

At the Mouse, I was once again in the hat building, and a second-floor staffer related:

"The lighters and finalers are doing seven-day weeks now, getting Frozen finished. The rest of us are on regular schedules, since production on the picture is over for us [last of Frozen's animators have pretty well wrapped]. The newer shows are just ramping up. ..."

Other feature players tell me that "production is going to be stretched out on the next couple of features. The production time on Wreck-It Ralph and Frozen was pretty compressed."
