To Duster: Well, there was the whole shark scene, of course, but there was Eric in the shipwreck, and then at the end with Ursula, there's the "You monster!" and then pulls her hair to save Eric again. And if we're really going to get ridiculously technical here (
), she did save Sebastian from death on the dining table.
(Also, wouldn't the whole deal be "fighting for a belief"?
)
And though it's inevitable....
Ariel - 3 (+2)
Mulan - 6
Eliminated:
Nala
Lady
Eilonwy
Perdita
Kida
Belle
Alice
Wendy
Maid Marian
Penny
Jane
Rapunzel
Giselle
Miss Bianca
Meg
Jasmine
Aurora
Esmeralda
Snow White
Cinderella
Pocahontas
Tiana

With all do respect Disney's Divinity but pulling someone' hair to save someone isn't very heroicDisney's Divinity wrote:To Duster: Well, there was the whole shark scene, of course, but there was Eric in the shipwreck, and then at the end with Ursula, there's the "You monster!" and then pulls her hair to save Eric again. And after seeing sebastian in the kitchen with Chef Louis, I think he would 've managed it all on himself on a dining table

Well, tbh, I don't think it's fair to make this a contest about "being heroic" when only one of the films gives any of them the chance to be. Besides, Megara beats them all--she actually died.

Then this thread shouldn't be called "Disney Heroines", but Disney's Favorite Leading Ladies or something!Disney's Divinity wrote:Well, tbh, I don't think it's fair to make this a contest about "being heroic" when only one of the films gives any of them the chance to be. And Megara died indeed, but apart from being flirty and seductive she doesn't do anything?!

Picky, picky.

I have decided to refrain from voting any more because I realized that just voting against Ariel because she always wins (and I don't like everything about her) is just wrong, because I still like her more than Mulan. I was basically doing what Big Disney Fan was doing, which was wrong, too.
stitchje1981, what did you mean everyone likes fish? Anyway, all the Hurt or Heal games are, by default, "Favorite [insert thing here]". It's always about voting for your favorite unless the maker of the game says "Vote for what you think is the most [insert thing here]". I consider Cinderella and Ariel heroines, and I voted for which ones are my favorite. And Ariel was heroic pulling Ursula's hair, the hair of the villain, risking getting hurt by the villain, to save Eric. Imagine if Mulan pulled Shan-Yu's hair to save someone or distract him?
Divinity, I forgot about pulling her hair to save Eric. I do consider that an act of heroism. However, I don't know about Sebastian because he was alive and Grimsby wouldn't have been able to eat him. However I see that she helped him.

Not a reflection on how I feel about the characters, I just want to finish the game so I can update the list. And the sooner games finish, the sooner more can begin, which will surely make BDF happy.

It was a little joke => everyone loves Ariel, she's half fish: so everyone's loves fish!!!
Hmmmmmmm now it's not funny anymore when you explane the joke...
Shan- Yu didn't have much hair to pull at, besides from the back of his head that was covered by his coat!
How do you get hurt if you pull hair from the back? The only thing ursula could do, which she did, was push Ariel back so she could attack her and her BF just swims away ( to get air, i guesse) but then he just stands in the boat looking in the water????
