There's a difference between being mean to Drizella and Anastasia versus C-3PO. Especially coming from Cinderella.Disney Duster wrote:But teasing someone isn't looking down on them or being unkind! I liked that part! It was just slightly "meaner" than "maybe I should interrupt the 'music lesson'?"
But why would Jasmine be allerigic to cats when she's has Rajah? Ahhhhhh!!!

It is friendlier than for example how Cinderella treats her stepsisters in that aforementioned scene, but I still find it OOC for both princesses. It was quite rude really how they pestered him.

It was friendly teasing pretty much, but something about it didn't feel right either.
Anyway, remember how Jennifer Lee said Ralph and Elsa would be a cute couple? Well, Moore just hinted about them being a thing in the movie, whichI had a hutch about. Or he could be trolling the OP.

Not surprisingly, looks like Marie from the Aristocats could have a cameo in this. It's weird that they literally photoshopped a old Vanellope pose on a 2D cat, which is also clearly a old pose of Marie. Who was in charge of this product?

Vanellope is riding Marie like she's the Nyan cat. Sigh. This is so disrespectful.

I actually think it's a cute and clever use for a meme for Disney. What I am worried about is that this is the 3rd or 4th time Disney has used a meme, particularly this one. They say they're not trying to be hip, but it's not very reassuring when they're using old memes or any memes in general.

It looks like Vanellope is wearing Tiana's green tiara/headpiece.
And whoa laser-beam-eye Marie...I'm curious, but wow, none of us ever saw that coming...

I hadn't noticed that before. Maybe Vanellope killed her and took her tiara.blackcauldron85 wrote:It looks like Vanellope is wearing Tiana's green tiara/headpiece.

Re: Ralph Breaks the Internet
Have you guys seen the Oh My Disney brand they are selling at the DS? And all the 90's nostalgia merchandise? They are desperate to attract millennials. I dont know... are they scared they're losing the unhip mommy / toddler crowd? are they worried Frozen 2 will only appeal to toddlers and anyone not in that age demo avoiding it will make it a flop? Or maybe the opposite, the controversy about Elsa's Girlfriend will keep the parents away so they are remaking their image to appeal to the Tumblr/internet crowd. Is Frozen 2 gonna be wall to wall Frozen 1 memes?

That one with Marie literally looks like something out-of-touch adults market to appeal to the "young, hip crowd".

Re: Ralph Breaks the Internet
^I blame it on the design. The idea is good, the outcome looks pretty bad. If Vanellope was 2D, it would look much much better.
EDIT: A much better look. Vanellope's colors match fortunately, but I still can't tell if it's 2D or 3D.

^Just you wait, this is just the start. The movie will make lots of money at the box office and the paid critics will come out in masse...
So yeah...Move over Revival Era...The Crossover Era starts now.

I have been thinking of the critics. The reception will be very interesting. However, the other scenes being shown at expos are getting great reviews with the writing and the characters. It’s just the memes and trendiness that are worrying me.

Surprising that Marie is featured, due to the unfortunate lackluster fate of The Aristocats.
Re: Ralph Breaks the Internet
I think that this could really start the wheels in motion for a Princess film from Disney. Maybe not all of them to start with, but I can certainly see it happening. Can you imagine the box office ?!?!?

The Aristocats isn't super popular but Marie is. Especially internationally. She's beloved in France and basically an icon in Japan. She's pretty consistent in merchandise here in the U.S. as well.DisneyFan09 wrote:Surprising that Marie is featured, due to the unfortunate lackluster fate of The Aristocats.
Ugh, I didn't even think about this but I could see it happening. Maybe a TV show or series of shorts was what I was thinking but Disney will likely go big on this. Especially if WIR2 ends up being a huge box office success.Atlantica wrote:I think that this could really start the wheels in motion for a Princess film from Disney.
