Bambi once more! With every view I learn to appreciate it more and more!
Also, last night I watched Atlantis with visual commentary. Great fun listening to those trio of people! I laughed so hard in some parts (the "out-take" and insider joke comes to mind

"See, I'm not a monster. I'm just ahead of the curve." - The Joker
On Saturday I watched Alice in Wonderland and Aristocats. Neither is my favorite, but each has some brilliant moments, so it was fun to return to some old classics.
Next up for me will be Bambi on Tuesday! (Gee, I wonder if anyone else shares this sentiment...)

"When your heart is in your dream, no request is too extreme."
On Sunday I saw The Cat Returns and The Aristocats.
I really enjoyed 'The Cat Returns' but of all the Ghibli movies I have seen it's on the end, but a high end.
Charming little film with some real funny parts. I'm considering watching it again real soon, even before Nausicaa, which I like so much more just because I think I'll like it even more. When I put it in I was a little cranky and worried aobut something so that may have affected my viewing.
'The Aristocats' is still as enjoyable as always. Disney animated movies from the 60's are all fun to watch and I really like their style of animation but I don't rank any as my favourites and I seem to have to be in a right mood for watching them. Before the Oscars I watched 'The Aristocats' and I was still kinda cranky and worried and had things on my mind so I wasn't really into it but by the end I was feeling pretty good. It beats the time I saw it last August and I was half asleep on a lazy summer afternoon.

I've been watching shorts from Mickey Mouse in Black And White and The Complete Pluto: Volume 1. Both are great sets, like the previous Treasures. I've just gotta find the last set I need The Complete Goofy
Mickey Mouse In Black And White *****/5

Porco Rosso (1st time): great movie, animation isn't on par w/ the great Disney's but the story and the characters are simply great. **** / *****
The Lady and the Tramp(1st time): simply put, a masterpiece. Too bad its so short, it could have definetly been a little longer in some occasions. The animation is obviously spectacular. The spaghetti scene lives up to its name, the songs are overall very good. The Italian accents though are hilarious. Being italian myself and having a mother who has a thick accent I can tell you that those accents aren't even close to the real thing. That's why they are hilarious. Hopefully they won't redub them or something because some whiny italian starts complaining.

What I watched
I just watched Peter Pan... I still like it, but I have to say I'll never be able to watch it again without thinking about the current misery in Santa Barbara.

PS
I rented it once when I was a kid but I just couldn't stand the first minutes where nothing happened, so I returned it.
