re: the little kid's singing

Think of it this way...Maybe this is Disney giving hope to all those little girls out there who sound like crap when they sing, that a decent singing voice is obtainable, even if it takes 18 years to not suck.

It's just a toddler singing. I think it's cute! She sounds more like a boy than a girl though haha...

I can't even make out if the little kid is a boy or girl
Especially at Change the fate's design it sounds autotuned.
Well, it's not like i sing better, but still, it's a big production. They could've picked a better voice..

Well, I don't mind it. And if part of it's about matching her voice with Mandy Moore's, well, let me put it this way: Not every singer sounded that good at a younger age. She probably sung the incantation so much that her singing voice developed.

LOL, yeah I was just kidding. The kid sounds like Copper the hound dog to me, which is still cute, just not what I was expecting.

If THAT's the worst thing about this soundtrack, than I will be more than happy.

"I could go running, and racing, and dancing, and chasing, and leaping, and bounding, hair flying, heart pounding, and splashing, and reeling, and finally feeling, that's when my life begins!"

Love it!

Gosh, I thought baby Rapunzel was sweet ! She actually sounds like a child, and not a mini opera singer .... For example, the young Anastasia from the movie 'Anastasia' had a typical high pitched OTT singing voice, and that really irritated me.

Wow, I have to say, I am more excited than ever for Tangled!!! I've been looking forward to it for so long, followed it through its all incarnations, and checked on all the threads, but you know how it is.. its hard to keep up with it all when there is just so much going on, especially the closer it gets to the release. Plus sifting through 40+ pages of info is a tad overwhelming when you've been away from the thread awhile, such as I have. I agree, there is much more excitement in the air over this than PatF. While I really liked that movie, I think it all comes down to what atlanticaunderthesea said a few pages back: Its got the Alan Menken Glen Keane factor going for it. To me, that is the recipe for Disney magic.

Its been hard to keep up with all these new clips, sooo many of em, and they're all great. From what I've watched so far, I've gotta say, the 'grounded for life' and 'smoulder' cologne ads were hilarious!! Hearing the soundtrack clips has got me very excited too! Hearing some of that classic Menken score back in a Disney movie is great. :D

I love everything that has been released in the last few days! Rotten Tomatoes now has 3 reviews posted (all positive!) including one from Variety!

Anyways has anyone seen this? (from the Variety review):
Such moments aside, there's room for visual improvement, particularly a garish, unattractive underwater scene involving Rapunzel's hair (which often resembles a very long coil of spaghetti, extra al dente).
I was shocked when I read this!!! This has got to be one of the most beautiful CG movies I've ever seen (granted that opinion is just from the trailers and various videos), but I guess you can't please everyone...

Pssh, don't listen to Variety...ugh. And her hair is of course not going to look like anything we're used to seeing, as it's a) 70 feet long, b) wet, and c) glowing at the time. Some people really are impossible to please

That's what I think. If you've never seen a wet, shining golden extra-long hair, you can't compare it with spaghetti xDDD

I heard Variety gave Toy Story 3 a bad review (correct me if I'm wrong.) I really don't trust them...
Anyways, Disney said it was a challenge to simply animate 70ft of CGI hair wet or dry. No animated movie has animated that much hair before. Not to mention you have to get it wet (All other characters have complex hair too.) Trolls.

From hellyeahtangled on tumblr:
Wants some help…
Couple of days ago I made a posted about the Tangled Graphic Novel.

You see I have sorta a collection of Graphic Novels in general ( mostly Japanese Mangas). So when I heard about the Tangled Graphic Novel I knew I have to buy it. So today I went to my local Disney Store with the hopes of buying this Graphic Novel, but I didn’t see it anywhere! Then I was like “I go check ebay! Ebay always has everything on sale!”.

I check ebay they don’t have it .

I started to get annoyed that I can’t find it online or in the area that I live (I live in Las Vegas, Nevada).

From what I heard the only places they’re selling them are Disney Stores in California?

THIS. I'm going insane trying to find this thing! I've been trolling the Disney store at my local mall for a week, and when I asked the manager she didn't even know what it was and told me to try Barnes and Noble -_-

Edit: Just emailed the Disney store 'Guest Services' address....wonder if they'll be any help
