I ADORE those outfits but it has me wondering if the sparrow men also get winter wear.....
I'm still waiting for the trailer (I havn't been lucky enough to purchase Fairy Rescue)
I actually enjoyed this movie! There were some really funny parts and some good moments. still a bit cheesy but I could live with it. WISH there was a soundtrack! :x

The new movie looks great too. To bad it's a year away. :( lol

Just wondering, was there a plot change?

If the original trailer (does any still have it?) still part of the movie? I seem to remember the girl actively seeking to catch her and keep her prisoner. I thought that was very cool hehehe.

Isn't it odd that the trailer doesn't mention a release date while the promo image in the booklet says it will be released in the Fall of 2012? :?

I want to get the latest movie. How good is it? I hope to get to Target before Saturday night so I can use my $10 off coupon for it and get it for $12.99+ tax.
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

Yes, they completely changed the plot. Vidia is the one who gets caught now.

Also, the girl (Lizzie) was made nice, and it was her dad who caught Vidia.

I really want to know who that sparrow man is riding the owl.
I think we can safely assume that fairy Tink saw at the end there is Periwinkle.

I just bought the new one today! I shouldn't have, as that was the last of my money and I haven't found a job yet, and I couldn't print out the coupon (no printer) so had to pay 22.99 plus tax, but I love Tink too much, ha. I haven't had a chance to watch it yet though. Anyway, someone was asking about the sticker on the front leaving residue (for the charm bracelet or whatever it was). I had trouble with this too at first, but then I tried an old trick that OCCASIONALLY works, and it did. You just use the stickiness of the peeled off sticker and keep tapping it on the residue, and it eventually picks it all up. At least, it did for me. Unfortunately, my slipcover still isn't in great shape, because the Target I went too had the annoying circumstance of having their blu-rays in those hard plastic cases. That always ruins the slipcovers in some area.

Anyone else slightly upset that they didn't size the tree on the side of the Blu-ray a bit larger to match with the first two DVDs? :( It's just going to look strange on my shelf now haha Oh well. I'm finally going to watch tomorrow.. hope it's better than the first two. :P And the new trailer looks beautiful!

I just finished watching Great Fairy Rescue and I have to say that it is my favorite of the three. Once again the animation and story seem to live up and surpass it's predecessor.

That's not completely true... Tink still gets caught by Lizzie, but it's not that she's trying to keep her forever. There's even a charming moment (that was released as a sneak peak) where Lizzie lets Tink go, but tink stays after seeing how poor Lizzie and her father's relationship is. After a fight about believing in fairies Tink reveals herself to Lizzie's father to help him believe that fairies are real. Then as Lizzie's father is about to capture Tink, Vidia jumps in to save Tink and ends up being captured instead. So during the film, they both get caught. I thought Lizzie was always intended to be nice as well. So, there weren't really any plot changes at all

Did any one knew that Target was giving away free $5.00 coupon for TinkerBell and Great Fairy Rescue Blu-ray? It would cost $7.99 (Blu-ray) or $11.99 (Target Exclusive Blu-ray) with the use of the $10.00 off from DMR and then the $5.00 off from Target then movie would really cheap.

:o

That trailer is suprisingly epic....

"Are you... who I think you are?"

With any luck, we're going to be seeing a combination of the epic scope of Lost Treasure and the more subtle tones of Great Fairy Rescue.... Lovely!
The Frost Talent seen briefly (I'm guessing AnnaSophia Robb's character) looks beautiful, but I wonder she'll end up being the 7th character in Tink's gang... (not counting the guys).
Some of the animation (even with the terrible quality of the trailer) looked gorgeous! I loved the ermine! :D

Something about the narration made me think of a Disney trailer from the 90s, moreso than anything I have seen in years. Did anyone else pick up on that? I can't exactly put my finger on what it is, but there's something about it that just kinda took me back....

I already posted my reaction to the trailer on the other thread, so I'll keep this brief....

Epic! Beautiful!
Love that ermine! Love the fairy I suppose is Periwinkle! Love that one line, "Are you.... who I think you are?"

Does anyone else get sort of an 80s or 90s vibe from this trailer, though? Is it the narration? I can't put my finger on what it is, but something about it gives me some nostalgia...
