Finally, some new pics! The last one is a closer look of the villan of the movie. I found them on Disney Central Plaza.

Also, found two articles; one is about Randy Newman and the other about the animators of the movie:

That's what I've been told. There's this girl at IMDb and she knows some of the people working on the film. She's been right about everything else about the film (changes made to the prince's race when no-one even knew about it), so I have no reason to doubt her.Old Fish Tale wrote:Really?mooky_7_sa wrote:Apparently, new trailer is supposed to come out sometimes around Christmas.

I don't expect to see a full trailer until next summer. I mean, the film is still 11 months away. Disney is creating awareness for it, but its to early to spend big bucks on advertising. Personally, I'm hoping it premiers with Pixar's Up and I hope Disney makes it mandatory in front of the film (I hear each studio is allowed to do this once a year and I think that's the best match possible).
wheres the high res version?sotiris2006 wrote:New pic everyone! (well, sort of). It was too hi-res to post it so i uploaded it on photobucket. It is beautiful and makes a nice wallpaper so i thought I'd share!

I love the one with the crocodile.
That one really has that original "Disney Classic" look.
For some reason films only look like this when they first come out.
When any type of "restoration" is done, this look is gone.
Original screenshots of The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin looked like this too. So did the original promopics in the cinema's, and the films itself in theatres and the first vhs editions.
In the "restored" dvd versions of TLM, BATB and Aladdin this look is completely gone.
I guess it has something to do with the (re)coloring. If, in 10 years, they give this film the same treatment as Cinderella got I bet this one would be one big bright green flat patch too, without depth, detail (like all the different shades of green on his back, the same details Cinderella's hair and skin once had too) and atmosphere.
This look is what makes the classics look alive. I love it.
