I'm going to introduce a couple more early 2006 movies for predicting now. You'll be able to revise them of course. More information on all these films is available here: http://www.ultimatedisney.com/intheaters.html

Predictions can be added for the following:
Roving Mars (January 27)
Antarctica (February 17)
"Fifteen years from now, when people are talking about 3-D, they will talk about the business before 'Monsters vs. Aliens' and the business after 'Monsters vs. Aliens.' It's the line in the sand." - Greg Foster, IMAX chairman and president

I wouldn't classify such "Large Format" movies as small, but on the other hand, I would say Pals' guesstimate seems much higher than what I would predict. :P

Once again, MMP, you're not updating your predictions the correct way. Yes, I do see it, but unless you actually revise with a new reply, your $60 prediction on Roving Mars is standing, as are all of your original numbers.

With miniscule increases for everything, it's not worth the effort to do a fully-formatted updates. No leader changes, although Aliens of the Deep is slowly approaching one. Hitchhiker's looks to cash out at around $50 M, which was far less than anyone predicted and less than half of many of our numbers. ($50 M is only slightly more than double what it made in its first three days of release.)

I'm revising my prediction for Howl's Moving Castle: $8.5 million. Last chance for everyone else to is this Thursday, as it opens in a few dozen theaters this Friday.

It'll be hard to say what movie will bring in what-but I am guessing The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe will be the highest grossing film for Disney this year- by far....

Unless the new star wars movie is disney too? Not too sure about that, if anyone knows-im sure most of u know... but i dont.
