I hope they aren't using the old-school red and blue 3D glasses, I hate those as it limits the choice of colors to red and blue. The polarized ones they use for IMAX 3D, though, are really good.

Though I hope they don't make it a corny 3D effects movie... if anyone's ever seen Spy Kids 3D, you'd know what I mean... it seems like half that movie is people throwing stuff at the screen in order to make it seem lifelike, when it really just looks lame.

It's gonna be like all the 3D stuff that's been coming lately, which is all done in Digital. Which, if you haven't seen, uses polarized glasses, very similar to IMAX glasses (except with smaller lenses). Luckily, there should be more theatres that become digital/ 3D ready before TRON 2.0 opens. Plus, if your theatre doesn't offer 3D, it'll still be playing in 2D.

Walt Disney Pictures confirmed via their Twitter page that Michael Sheen will indeed be playing a part in "Tron Legacy" next year. From all accounts it appears that he's playing the main villain in the film. So I guess you could say that he's this film's David Warner/Sark.

I really hope the movie makes a lot of movie at the box office next year, so that this trilogy will actually happen.

Still can't believe the budget is 300 million, they're putting a lot of faith in this movie - hope it doesn't bite 'em in the ass. Still, it seems like Disney has a little bit too many big-budget films coming out soon (or at least next year); The Princess and the Frog, Alice in Wonderland, Prince of Persia, Toy Story 3, Tron Legacy, Rapunzel, - I hope they're all going to be very, very succesful.
