So, Is Pocahontas finally available in an OAR anamorphic transfer? (I.e. enhanced for 16X9 TV’s and windowboxed in its proper 1.66:1 ratio?)Loomis wrote:

The box proudly proclaims that "If I Never knew You" is "seamlessly integrated into the original film".
Disc One:
- Original Theatrical Film
- Special Edition Film (with integrated song)

I just noticed the ending has been changed as well! The 'If I Never Knew You' reprises are back in the scene where John's about to go on board to go back to England!
Wow... The SE is sooo good...

This is just too good to be true! I can't believe Disney even bothered to animate the reprise of "If I Never Knew You" as well! I was disappointed that it wasn't going to be included as an extra on the DVD, but know I'm soooo happy to know they restored it to its proper place in the movie. It's damn beautiful.

Anyone who has bought "Pocahontas: Special Edition" could tell me how the sound mix is? Did they use the same one from the old release or they created a new one? I ask this because the original mix was rather lackluster (a shame, considering "Pocahontas" has one of Disney's best music scores) and I am kind of disappointing that no Enhanced track has been included on the special edition.

Maybe it's a Pocahontas SE release for another country (not the U.S., that is)?
Cause if it were being released in the States tomorrow (or anytime within this month for that matter)... it'd be a huge shock, anyway. Practically no word beforehand whatsoever.
I'm not sure I'd complain, though. I've been waiting for this SE for a while. ~.~

Any news on the reviews for these titles? I can't wait to read them.
By the way, another question regarding the "Pocahontas" DVD: it seems to me that they have recorded an all-new commentary for this DVD. Is it true? I don't think it was really necessary, considering the LD had a pretty good commentary already (and it also had Alan Menken and Stephen Schwatz on it, in addition to Eric Goldberg, Mike Gabriel and James Pentecost).
