Don Rosa's The LIfe and Times of Scrooge McDuck would make an awesome film in my opinion, although it would probably make a better animated series or mini-series given the enormous amount of material they'd have to work from.

Rumpelstitlskin was revised in April 2007, but had no luck, because it had similarities with Rapunzel.

In 2008, Lasseter canceled GOOSE CHASE (for similarities with Rapunzel too :x ) by Joe Harsha, and JOE JUMP.

I think, Lasseter is trying to bak old and great talents who left Disney in the 2000 decade, for example: Brizzi Brothers, Joe Harsha, Roger Allers, Trousdale, Wise ... to pick those projects that were involved previously.

Por example: Joe Harsha in GOOSE CHASE or SWAN LAKE

Brizzi Brothers in DON QUIXOTE, SNOW QUEEN and LADY OF THE LAKE I Belive.

Roger Allers for made, finally, a good and perfect movie under his vision. Not like in 1999/2001 that Eisner had no patience, because the visions of Allers on THE KINGDOM OF THE SUN, was bleak and better, but he needed time, and Eisner don' t give ... always thinking of them sequels "direct-to-video". allers is IDEAL for AIDA for example. :x :x :x

All next Disney Animation project is a repechage of a previously project:

* The Princess and The Frog vs. THE FROG PRINCE in 2004 with Eric and Susana Goldberg / 2005 witn Musker and Clemente, after cancelled their previously project FRAIDY CAT.

* King of the Elves / KING OF THE ELVES (2001) multiple version: Jim Helson/Disney or a "Shrek comedy style in 2003. Now a serious and epic movie for 2012.

My ideal next Disney filmography:

2010: RAPUNZEL

2012: KING OF THE ELVES

201?: MY PEOPLES by Mike Gabriel, because he likes the american folklore.

201?: SNOW QUEEN by Dean Wellins/Brizzi Brothers. Dean Wellins will meet, at last, his dream of directing a Disney feature animated film.

201?: DON QUIXOTE by Brothers Brizzi. They had a very dark vision of the story based on Ludwig ballet, but Eisner spoiled everything. Now, Bob Iger and Lasseter let creative freedom... is a golden opportunity, take advantage of those visions. and offer something incredibly new, risky and rich script.

201?: AIDA or LADY OF THE LAKE by Roger Allers. Allers wanted to improve better than The Lion King, with a history as KINGDOM OF THE SUN, but limited their ideas.
