Just got back from seeing Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle. I had extremely low expectations, but I ended up loving this movie. It's hilarious and I recommend it to anyone who likes a good comedy!

Today I watched the 1961 Classic Tammy Tell Me True. With Sandra Dee, John Gavin. I love my DVD of it. It is a very good movie very true to the fact and very funny.

This movie is in color. But here is a B&W pic from the movie.

I heard it was suppose to be really good. Everyone I know who's seen it says it's really good...and didn't Ebert and his sidekick give up two thumbs up? I'm not one to listen to critcs, but when they give a good rating to something that's generally in the same category as Dude, Where's My Car, and other such films, it might deserve some investigation.

Back on topic, I just finished watching Ever After. *Sigh* I love happy endings.

Yesterday, I watched and reviewed Wyatt Earp (1994) which I hadn't seen before. 3 hours, but a great film nonetheless.

And I went to see Jersey Girl at the cinema last night. I really enjoyed it. Surprisingly sharp and adult for the genre. And I love Kevin Smith, so I probably forgave a lot of it.

Wow, if they did, then it's definitely surprising, but very cool!

Finally saw Shrek 2 last night.

Eh, it was ok. Lots of digs at Disney (which were kind of fun, as some were just neat visual tributes), but overall it felt as though some animation was done just for the sake of saying "Look what we can do!" (which is a trap Disney has fallen into as well).

Still, a solid love story at heart, which I am a sucker for.

The Sin Eater aka The Order (US Title) with Heath Ledger.

I have to admit I wouldn't have watched it if I had not had to review it for DVDBits, but it wasn't as bad as the reviews make out. Sure, it is a flawed film and has some of the worst CGI I've ever seen, but it is interesting nonetheless.

And then I watched Bourne Identity, also to review.[/b]

Hellboy
Which I must confess I found confusing and a little too big on the fighting.

Still it was entertaining.
