Is that information accurate?

Unless Disney decided to all this time to keep this production so secret and quiet that they surprised us with a 2015 release, this is clearly wrong information.

Remember: The Disney Animation Library accidentally marked Zootopia as 2015 on a FB post, recently

EDIT: Oh gosh, people are already complaining about how Moana & her "prince" looks...in a obvious fan art :face palm: Look at the comments.

The SUGA Magazine fixed the date:

https://www.facebook.com/SUGAMagazine/p ... 20/?type=1

BTW: It's so interesting we hadn't heard anything from WDAS insiders all year about Zootopia, Giants, & Moana. The closest thing we got was the WIR composer saying WIR 2 is defientely happening! All last year, we would have frequent updates about these movies, but Disney & insiders have been zipped shut about these movies. I'm especially very surprised about no information about Zootopia because it's the next film to be released in early 2016.

I think it's better that they don't show anything until they feel ready to. I'm pretty sure we'll see lots of things from Zootopia at the D23 Expo next summer.

Is that image legit? Seems kind of odd, almost like it was made by a Disney braniac who follows up on the rumors and wants to troll... like last time. :|

A person who I know who works at Disney World took a picture of this (It was in the break rooms) and posted on Facebook, so yes it is :)

I'm sorry, but from what I know, this planning is old, so not true.
Only believe what's Disney Animations Studios officially release. ;)

Two Disney films in one year? :o Is that a first? (Not including DTV sequel releases, of course.)

2002 saw the release of "Lilo & Stitch" and "Treasure Planet" and I never knew why both were released the same year.

It's definitely a good time to be a Disney/Pixar fan. On the Pixar side, I'm more excited for Inside Out than The Good Dinosaur but both come out next year anyway. For Disney, Moana sounds more intriguing to me than Zootopia, but those are both the year after. It'll be interesting to see the studios compete against themselves at the Oscars

This has been a great week! Official announcement for Moana for late 2016 and an accidental leak from Mr. Lasseter for Giants for March 9, 2018! :D (Which explains why THR articles apologized for the Giants addition)

We've all know about these films for the last 15 months though. WDAS just finally "Officially Announced" them. And to think, this was where it all started at back in July 2013...

I'm not interested in "Zootopia" at all, the concept sounds too "Madagascar"-esque to me. Not that I despise the movie, but it was made during a time when Dreamworks was getting mediocre. I'm mostly interested in "Giants", since it's going to be more classically Disney (hopefully). And somewhat "Moana", now that I know that it's under Musker/Clements.

I have a good feeling this will not be like the "Wild" or "Chicken Little" because after seeing "Wreck It Ralph" I think they can handle movies that are out of their usual comfort zone. Besides its been a while since Disney did a world full of funny animals.

Do we even have a hint of what the November 2018 movie is for WDAS? It's pretty obvious that the space movie is *kaput* and the only known movie that's being developed that isn't Zootopia, Moana, or Giants is Wreck-It Ralph 2.

Well, there we have it:

Zootopia: March 4, 2016
Moana: November 23, 2016
Giants: March 8, 2018
Frozen 2: November 21, 2018 (Most likely)

I'm not anti-Zootopia, but I hope Kung Fu Panda 2 does well pitted against it. I would prefer they both do well, but if only one can be successful--KFP3, please. I have a feeling Moana will totally wipe the floor with Trolls; neither will do as well as Finding Dory will that year, I'm guessing. I'm glad Frozen 2 likely won't be out at the same month span as HTTYD3 (for the latter's sake).

If BH6 can out gross HttyD2, then Giants should have no problem out grossing HttyD3.
