Interesting that this trailer doesn't say anything about 3D but the trailer on the Peter Pan blu-ray does. Btw, where did the October 1st date come from?Lnds500 wrote:Little Mermaid - Diamond edition (US)

Maybe they haven't decided on a 3D date yet and want to hold off for now. My guess is that the 3D blu ray will release in November after the 2D release.

Disney France is letting fans to choose the cover art for Aladdin. You need to have a Disney Movie Rewards account to vote.
Which one is your favorite? Mine's the first one.

The only one I hate is the one in the middle, I just just not a fan of having that much white on most things. And the whole keyhole thing just doesnt fit the theme much. I would probably go with the first one, but the third is almost as good I suppose.
The one we get in the states will probaby be worse than all 3 though wont it?
I wish they would give us a cover with just the lamp, and maybe the smoke forms the logo or something.

Wow, recycled VHS cover art. Really? Granted, the image is washed out and will look better in person but still.
I didn't think much of France's 101 Dalmatians and Aristocats covers, they just seemed to place the characters in different positions just for the sake of it, but the Aladdin ones look incredible, particularly 1 and 2.
EDIT: This seems to be our trilogy cover art.

The Blu Ray version was blank but I assume it will be the same. This is probably the one time I would choose a multi pack over the single movie version.

The trilogy cover art is surprisingly good, I like the simplicity of it. Though one problem I have is that all 3 parts of interest are exactly the same size. My eye doesn't know what its supposed to focus on, the logo? Aladdin and Jasmin on the magic carpet? or the Cave of Wonders? Its just bam bam bam, 3 areas of interest in a straight diagonal line from corner to corner.

They're just in the list as to be released in 2013. Very fishy. I would take this with a major grain of salt.Lnds500 wrote:Credit goes to yumny from Blu-ray.com

I wouldn't be surprised if we got a wave like we're getting in March this fall as well. That would leave only a few titles for next year.PatrickvD wrote:They're just in the list as to be released in 2013. Very fishy. Does the "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" 25th Anniversary Blu-Ray also has new bonus features including the documentary "Roger Rabbit and the Secrets of Toontown" hosted by Johanna Cassidy? I have never saw this special when Showtime reran it back in 1991. But let's hope if this would include it as a bonus feature on the "Roger Rabbit" Blu-Ray.
The reasons for this 1988 TV special is that the majority of footage from the cartoons are from Disney along with clips from the Betty Boop cartoons are in the Public Domain, and the Looney Tunes, Tom & Jerry and Tex Avery cartoon clips are from WB. I don't know if Disney should allowed these clips from various studios onto the Blu-Ray due to license issues. Here is a full special once again.
