It makes sense, but I wonder if that's another television special...

Sounds likely ! Makes sense to have the TV specials all about the other fairies in the Hollow, then the theatrical films based on Tink.

Either way, sounds pretty darn awesome !

That was my wish for Kristin Chenoweth.... and now Megan Hilty.... but for some reason Disney thinks that random Disney stars will help sell these films...

I don't think so. They wouldn't say they are working on the 6th movie if it was just another TV special.

If I am not mistaken, didn't some places call the Pixie Hollow Games a 'movie' ?

Even if they did that was different since it was originally set to be a full-length feature.

 No, I wasn't annoyed. Sometimes when writing online, it just gives off that impression.

The trailer was shown at VUE last night, and really did hold everyone's attention which was cool. Looked breathtaking on the big screen.

No problem!

It seems that Pixie Previews are getting longer. These last two have been about two minutes long while before they were about a minute.

Hmmm interesting to see that they are re-releasing them with new covers; unlike Disney to do that nowadays.

I like the new art; especially The Lost Treasure. The original art for the release was dreadful, wasnt it? Just the first but flipped, and slightly altered!

I thought they would take this opportunity to drop the 'TinkerBell' from the titles though ?? Funny how it is still there.

Interestingly, this the second re-release of the first Tinker Bell film on Blu-ray. It was re-released in 2010 as a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack as the original 2008 release was a single Blu-ray disc only. The cover was exactly the same as the original release. Now they've added the "a Tinker Bell/Disney Fairies movie" banner at the bottom.

It wouldn't have been so bad if they had stuck to uniformity with the following releases. But when the third film got a totally different cover, the second one stuck out like a sore thumb.

They seemed to have used an altered version of the Japanese poster (which was also used on the Japanese soundtrack).

I've heard a rumor that when the second film didn't sell as well as the first one, Disney blamed the similarities of the two covers. Allegedly, parents thought it was the same film but with a different color for the cover. That sounds incredibly silly as the movies have different names. On the other hand, Disney has been releasing multiple editions of the same films which might have confused some people.

That's funny, I wondered the same thing myself.

To be fair, I could see the point with parents thinking it was the same movie, just re-released. It was stupidly similar ! Much prefer this new one. Though in all honesty, the first Tink film now looks out of place. It has her old facial design, and the leaf boarder that got dropped. Though again, I am not complaining as we are lucky to have alternate covers etc etc!

Will this be a UK release as well you think ? I don't yet have them on blu, and this release is something I would be interested in picking up.

It is funny how they are so insistent with dropping the TinkerBell from everything, now they keep it ?!
