Re: Hocus Pocus 2
It's not an in-person event. No one is going in person. You have to buy a ticket (which I also did) in order to have access to the stream. I'm guessing it's all pre-recorded. At least the Sanderson Sisters part is, because we have photos of them filming it.Disney Duster wrote:Vlad, you're going?!! I'm so jealous! Have fun!
Thanks for the info lord-of-sith!

Re: Hocus Pocus 2
Thank you for explaining lord-of-sith, but I already knew it wasn't in person and you just get a link to a stream when you buy a ticket. You are still going to the event in a sense, and that's what I meant.
Did you lord-of-sith and Sicoe Vlad order any items and treats? They looked sooo good!
I am so jealous of you guys! I wish my fairy godmother could get me to the Hulaween ball! Tell us what happens at it, guys!

Bought my ticket for Hulaween (in 30 mins!). Could provide a taste of Hocus Pocus 2— but if nothing else I’m sure it will be a fun time!

My review: The Sanderson Sisters still got it. And Billy Butcherson’s barely decayed a day since 1993. Also Glenn Close cameo-ing as Cruella de Vil was another fun surprise. Really enjoyed this benefit. It’s getting some bad reviews on social media, but it was exactly what I expected— a cute, fun little charity benefit! And seeing the original cast of Hocus Pocus again made me feel a little less uneasy about the sequel.

I'm so glad you enjoyed the party! Sounds like so much fun. I wish I had Hulu and could have seem it. Did the actors who were the Allison, Max, and Dani show up?

Re: Hocus Pocus 2
It wasn’t on Hulu! It had nothing to do with Hulu. Every year Bette Midler throws a Hulaween charity benefit (Hula because she is from Hawaii) and this year it was virtual because, y’know, Covid. Unfortunately, it was a one-time only, live event so there is no official recording— but last night I saw some people recording their laptops with their cellphones so maybe you can find some clips on Twitter or Facebook?Disney Duster wrote:I'm so glad you enjoyed the party! And yes, Allison, Max and Dani all showed up. And there were in character! Allison talked about needing therapy after the events of the movie, and Max relit the Black Flame candle to summon the Sanderson Sisters. It was a lot of fun, and great to see them again.

Ohhhhh. I really should have bought a ticket and some items for it then! I will look for clips! Thanks for telling me all about it.

Re: Hocus Pocus 2
Yeah, it was a lot of fun! Glenn Close as Cruella was such a nice surprise. And the Sanderson sisters were awesome as always. I kinda liked how Sarah brought a little bit of her character in Sex and the City.

https://www.digitalspy.com/movies/a3455 ... te-midler/Hocus Pocus 2 Story Praised By Bette Midler - It sounds like fans won't have to worry about the still-unknown story for Hocus Pocus 2, as star Bette Midler described it as "pretty great."

I am SO excited for this, truly. There is a massive appetite for it out there, I just hope it delivers.

There was a gag where Sarah had a voiceover of her thoughts similar to what Carrie Bradshaw had on every episode of Sex and the City.Disney Duster wrote:Oh that's cool! How was Sarah like how she was from Sex and the City.
