The words "fair", "balanced", and "Fox News" together in the same sentence is an almost unbeatable oxymoron...
As for the earlier point, America has no concept of true socialism. Obamacare is about the closest anything has ever gotten in the general scope. Both Democrat and Republican parties are right wing in the overall political scope. To give a comparison, the Conservative party in the UK is roughly in the same spot where the Democrats are, and that's the most right wing party in the country.
One of the problems facing Romney imo is that he is a Mormon. I joked four years ago that America would sooner vote in a black guy than someone non-Christian (or heaven forbid, an atheist). Here comes the acid test.

Well, either way, Romney is really struggling. With such a small schedule this week, and almost no republican wanting to be associated with him anymore after that video scandal, and Fox News desperately bringing up a video of President Obama from way back in 98 supporting redistribution, which is essentially what he said in that oft-misquoted speech of a couple months ago.
Long story short, Obama's got this in the bag by now.
Oh, and by the way, Obama's a centerist. Moving right has been a universal government trend since the 70s. I'm far more liberal than he is and only one person in government really is qualified as a liberal anymore. I forgot the name, but he's old and white and a democrat and that's what I remember. And even then, I'm probably still more liberal.

Not yet. The lead Obama had coming out of the convention is getting smaller, and its basically a even race counting margin of error, etc... (like it was before the conventions).
I do think Obama will win, but it will be a very close result.

Here is a video of the interview. And I was actually pleasantly surprised at his answer to the gay marriage question. Who knows if he is telling the truth, but that is the first time I saw humanity coming from him.

And the percentages are lower, I guess, but on logic, it's no longer quite that much of a competition.

I have half a mind to say that quote may have originated from Beck, but whoever posted that has a facebook and DVDJunkie quoted the "Like us" part as well.
How can anyone truly consider, to vote for the Republicans? I mean, seriosly? Look, what Bush did to your country AND the world, look at the insanity of Sarah Palin, Michelle Bachmann and yes, also Mitt Romney.
I just don't get it.
