Well, they're now in the threads here. I meant the official ones on the WDAS and Disney/PIXAR FB pages.

Not stuff from D23 visitors, sorry if I gave that impression.

Damn straight!

You know what's crazy? Both NPH and John Lithgow are in this movie. Barney and his dad. Awesome.

Just as awesome is seeing Judy Greer in there as well. I'd look for a good clip of Cheryl from Archer, but YouTube's kinda slacking on one for the moment.

"Hot dinosaur"? :P

I wonder if this movie will be more comedic in tone. After all, the dinosaurs talk.

Lasseter's trigger fingers strike again? Rumour has it Bob Peterson is no longer directing The Good Dinosaur.

If this is true, why has John Lasseter been so frequent in firing directors off projects lately?

I actually suspected this when Peterson did not appear at the D23 Expo to present his film.

You've gotta be kidding me. From now on you never know who's directing a pixar movie until its done and in the can.

I saw a bunch of prototype packaging for these products a few weeks ago. Nothing I can share because it was literally just boxes with varying degrees of concept art, but it got me really pumped. The little kid is such an adorable character!

I wonder why there has been such a turn around of directors on Pixar projects?

If the changes are in the best interests of the movie then fair enough; but this just seems a lot of movies this has happened to recently...

Or it could be that he just hates anyone who's creatively better than he is. :P

I'm gonna wait until this "rumor" has been confirmed, but still Bob Peterson of all people?

Yeah, this seems unlikely. I don't EVER see John firing Bob.

...........

:jawdrop:

This would suck if this is a sign the rumor was true and I would be greatly disappointed in John Lasseteer even more

I've said for a long time that John Lasseteer is the worst thing to happen to Disney in a long time. He was wonderful before he became CCO. Since then I think his ego has exploded and he has made a string of terrible decisions that have made a lot of people question his judgement.

He needs to be knocked down a peg or two and soon.

^yeah, I used to idolize him myself. I'm still willing to give the benefit of the doubt but that doesn't even look possible anymore.

This.

And that's why John Lasseter is a pain in the ass for Disney.
