I am still a little upset that they did not include the original version of "As Long As There's Christmas" Music Video on the Blu-ray as well. Do not get me wrong I like Play's version as well, but I would love to have the original version on the Blu-ray too. Doesn't Disney own the rights to that song and music video? Why not add it?
I am glad I bought the Read Along DVD of Beauty and the Beast which includes the music video!
I hope there's a coupon.. The only thing that's crappy is they made it come on out on a bad week.. shopping wise especially since there's no pay day with the fuggen holiday til Friday
I love Belle's expression for her Magical World. It's like "Well....here we are again fuggers! Buy me!"

hahaha YES!
Super excited, my birthday is Nov 23 and I'm a 91 baby (duh) so this time of year is always Beauty and the Beast-crazy for me, plus the personal attachment of being born the day after it came out! Enchanted Christmas is most definitely on my birthday wish list! I'm buying Belle's Magical World blindly, it was a personalized Amazon Gold Box deal so I figured I'd try it out.

Disney, if you WANT people to switch over to Blu-ray, then you've got to mean it.
But isn't nice to see that even Disney acknowledges that Belle's Magical World is complete crap? It's so bad that they don't even want to see it on blu to make an extra buck!
I agree that it does bother me a little that we'll have one but not the other though (the collector/completist in me talking of course). They really could've sold this as a 2-movie combo pack on blu. In fact, that's what I'm hoping is done for Return of Jafar/King of Thieves, TLM2/Ariel's Beginning, all the Lilo & Stitch sequels/spin-offs, Cindy 2/3, and the Pooh spin-off films. I don't really like seeing the sequels packaged together with their originals like FatH (unless they weren't as prominent and more there as a special feature), but I wouldn't mind them being packaged together at all!
Frankly, they shouldn't even be re-releasing these cheapquels. Wasn't putting these on the shelf largely responsible for diminishing the Disney brand name?

Well, most of them were terrible. Only a FEW of them were actually good.
I'm planning on getting them on Tuesday. Waiting to see what ToysRUs will have it for. They have a promotion right now when you buy $40 or more in disney blu and dvds...
So mostlikly they will not be a sale
$30 for the Blu $20 for the dvd =$50
$5 off for buying both
$5 off for the blu coupon = $40 plus a $10 gift card to use later
plus $3 back to use later with rewards r us ( the gift card does not count towards the total)
If they are on sale and it falls below the $40 requirement i'll pick up Prep and Landing for $10

I got The Enchanted Christmas on Blu-ray first thing this morning at Target and it came with a slipcover. Unfortunately, I didn't look closely at any of the other BATB releases since I wasn't interested, so I can't say for sure which had slipcovers.
I just watched my VHS copy of THe Enchanted Christmas a few days ago, so I probably won't watch the Blu-ray until this weekend or next, since I want it to be a "fresh" viewing, lol.

Thank you for your answer. I'm guessing the DVD only editions wont come with a slipcover, but hopefully someone from here can say for sure.
All I can say is "Wow". "Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanting Christmas" looks amazing on Blu-ray. Never knew a 1997 sequel would look so good on HD. The thing that also surprise me was that all special features from the 2002 Special Edition has it on the 2011 Special Edition too. Even the "As Long As There Christmas" by Play music video.
I think its rare that the DVD has all the same special features from the Blu-ray. Disney doesn't do that but for this release they did. People eho buy DVD got lucky this time. Another thing I notice is that the DVD has Portuguese language option but the Blu-ray doesn't. Wonder why Disney didn't included on the Blu-ray.
Thinking about selling my "Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanting Christmas" 2002 DVD release. But I haven't decided yet because I love the cover art, had the DVD since it got out-of-print, and the disc has Belle and Beast instead of a gray disc which we all got for the 2011 release.
Yeah but sorry for the quality. It was crazy at Toys R Us so I tried to snap a quick pic
They look cheap because the embossing is was off. Like it was raised on the side of Belle's head because it wasn't perfectly alined. Maybe it was just the copies I saw and bought (I only got enchanted Christmas). And for my copy it looks like the embossed part is supposed to come out like a cut out. You cant really tell in the picture but want me to try to take a better and higher resolution pic?
