Yeeeeaaahhh, it's still not worth it for me to buy "Cars" for that price.
I'm going to end up price matching Best Buy's price at Target with the coupon, employee discount, and five percent Red Card discount. I think it'll end up being like $13 or so after tax. It's not worth paying an extra $7 or so for "Cars." Not to mention in the past ten days I've bought "Tangled," "Pinocchio," "Bolt," "TRON," "TRON: Legacy" and "Fiddler on the Roof" on Blu-ray, so uh, I think I don't need any more.

"Ta ta ta taaaa! Look at me... I'm a snowman! I'm gonna go stand on someone's lawn if I don't get something to do around here pretty soon!"
There is some speculation over at Blu-ray.com that Best Buy is going to give us trouble trying to use all 3 discounts: 2 DMR coupons and $10 store discount. However, I've never had a problem at my Best Buy with coupons, so I'm definitely going to try.
If anyone is successful at Best Buy on Tuesday, let us know how it goes. I can't get to the store until after work, but I'd be interested to see how those of you do that go earlier in the day.
I hope we get a good deal like this when they re-release Ratatouille and WALL-E as combo packs in July! I still need both of those, too.

It should work. Although I would wait until they ring up the 2 movies and the register takes $10 off before handing them the coupons.MJW wrote:There is some speculation over at Blu-ray.com that Best Buy is going to give us trouble trying to use all 3 discounts: 2 DMR coupons and $10 store discount. I've had mixed results with Best Buy on things, but they usually take coupons with no problems. Price matching is hit and miss. They usually send me to customer service where the person there tries to find an excuse not to honor it.
Since it is an in-store deal, will Best Buy's cash registers already be pre-programed to automatically take the $10 off when The Incredibles and Cars is scanned, or will we have to remind the cashier of what is says in the sale paper?DarthPrime wrote:It should work. It will probably be the end of the week before I can pick these up when I get my next paycheck. Hopefully they still have some left.

You know the fact that it is a fantastic movie and Disney are already giving you a discount, you shouldn't really be complaining about not getting more off.
People have been so conditioned to expect these prices but they are artificially low and not sustainable especially if you want to see other classics properly restored. It's kind of pathetic the way people obsess whether they will be able to abuse the system.
