I have been out of the loop. Can someone give me a brief summary on what disc has the problem, what the problem is, and how I can get a replacement? Thanks.

Read this (Edited to update link because the usual address isn't working for some foul reason)
and how I can get a replacement? Thanks.
Ring Disney on 1-800-723-4763 and the good folk of Neenah Wisconsin will do the rest.

Considering how enthusiastic I've always been about the Walt Disney Treasures I've been incredibly, unbelievably slow at requesting those replacement discs. However, I finally did five or six days ago - and had the discs in my mailbox here in the very north of Norway today. Speedy service indeed. :!: :)

After getting my Silly Symphonies replacements quickly and easily, I decided to call in about my Mickey Mouse In Living Color Volume 2 Disc 2 problem. The audio was out of sync on "Runaway Brain." They were very nice about it and sent a return envelope very quickly. I sent the disc in today, so here's hoping I get a replacement fast and without any problems. Now, I'm just stressing that they'll run out of the Disney Legacy collection replacement discs, ha, because I still need to buy those. I only have Volume 3 right now. I probably will get the other three for Christmas and 1 Treasures set, and I'll have to come up with the money for the other two Treasures on my own. Yeah, money is tighter than ever this year at my house.

So is mine. But Did they actually make a corrected version of In Living Color V2 Disc 2 :?

By the way I didn't get an envelope for the discs. I got a shipping label but no envelope. Guess I will have to use my own.

Sorry, I meant they sent a return label. Yeah, I had to re-use an envelope someone had used to send me something in, ha. Well, the reason I have tried to get it replaced is that I had only ever seen one other person complain about the same problem (probably in an amazon review, though I'm not sure). In places like, well, here at U.D., everyone was saying their copies were fine, so I am currently under the impression that only some discs had that problem. Here's hoping that was the case. And here's hoping the one they send me works fine and that nothing gets lost to and from. I'd hate to not have that disc in my collection! I love all the feature programs on it! I mean, "Mickey's Christmas Carol" is on it, for one!

Simpler and faster for us non-US people then, since there was said nothing about returning the old discs.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to get a replacement from Disney (in the U.S.) from the date you send a damaged one back? With Silly Symphonies, they sent me the disc first, but with my Mickey Mouse in Living Color V. 2, disc 2, which was defective, they sent me the return label and had me send it in. I'm wondering how long I should allow to get the new one before I start worrying. What can I say, I am worried about it getting lost in transit or something because it's got some of my favorite stuff on it. Don't want to be without Mickey's Christmas Carol this holiday season, complete with the opening and closing credits. I wouldn't be worried about it yet, except for the fact that I already received a Disney Movie Reward I was waiting for too.

Update1: I was about to call Disney and bitch but before I did that I called home to check the mail and they arrived!! Will verify they're the correct versions when I get home.

Update2: wohhooo I got updated versions!!

Let us know if you get a new disc and if it works for you.

Cause from what I read all versions were out of synch in that episode.

Oh, no, really? If that's the case, I doubt I will get anything different than what I sent in. I'm still waiting, but I guess it's only been about 2 weeks. Where did you read that though? Because the only other complaint about it I had read was one reviewer on amazon (or maybe it was someone here) some time back. Everyone else was telling me their copy was fine. That's why I sent it in.

Ugh, I guess I made a big mistake by sending off my disc. According to the U.D. review (I could swear I had checked it out, but I must have missed this somehow) they're all that way. I have no idea how I missed that! Well, I don't expect to get a replacement that is any different, but hopefully I'll get one that plays as well as the one I sent in... I better get something back. It's only a tiny bit out of synch, but it's extremely irritating to me. I guess it didn't bother enough people to call for replacements to be issued. What a shame.

I hear this short is an extra on the "Frank and Ollie" DVD though, which I still need to get. Hopefully, it's in sync on that one, though I'm not sure if it is presented in the right aspect ratio. I didn't see a review of Frank and Ollie on UD, but maybe it's something else I missed.

There are no complete shorts as extras on the Frank and Ollie DVD.

I had forgotten where I read they were all that way, but now that you mention it that's where I read it. Yea it won't be any different. They're all that way. My SS replacements didn't come in till after about 3 weeks. You can always call them and ask what the status is. Couldn't hurt.

There's actually worse issues than that that didn't bother enough people.

In MM vol 1 Clock Cleaners is the censored version

In SS vol 1 They didn't have the origial Jewish salesman in 3 Little Pigs (they had it on the intro but not on the cartoon).

In MM B&W vol 2 there's an error where like 2 seconds are missing from one short.

Thankfully for the above 3 I have uncensored and unedited copies on seperate DVDs.

I believe as far as shorts go this is a complete listing of missing stuff and no replacement discs were ever offered. Anyone feel free to correct any part of this statement.

Also, on Your Host, Walt Disney they did not reinclude a previously cut segment of Disneyland USA even though they were supposed to include it fully. No replacement for that either (again anyone is free to correct)

Yeah, I knew about most of those and they bother me too, but to me the out of sync dialogue is the worst because it irritates me throughout the whole program. Plus, it's the sort of thing that, I'd assume, was never done intentionally (like the editing). It's just a pure mistake that they should be willing to fix.

Yep, I'll call them if I haven't gotten a replacement after 3 weeks (next Tuesday), thanks. It's funny that they don't even seem to be aware that the flaw exists on all the discs.

Only on the American NTSC version. The PAL version in R2/R4 had the correct original vision, but not the original audio.
Thankfully for the above 3 I have uncensored and unedited copies on seperate DVDs.
Does that include the original audio track for The Three Little Pigs?

For the record, I called after 3 weeks about my replacement for Mickey Mouse In Living Color Volume 2 Disc 2, and they told me they had just gotten it, which was surprising. I received it about a week later. No big surprise then that "Runaway Brain" was still out of synch. Oh well.

Now, I'm awaiting my replacement for the flawed True Life Adventures Vol. 1 disc. I hate that I have to send my disc in before getting a replacement, though I understand why. Didn't have to with my Silly Symphonies discs though. Still need to by True Life Adventures vol. 4 and have that replaced. Finally have the other 3 though. Well, volume 2 is coming to me as a Christmas Gift, but it's in the house already, ha.
