*sigh* I live on bottled water. I don't like to drink soda, so when I go to a vending machine, I like to get water. Oh well, if it's for the environment...

And lmao about the belching cows. I know that it's serious, but somehow the fact that making cows stop burping will help the environment is just funny. I wish that was ALL it took!

Hi jasmine, does your school have recycle bins for bottles? If not, you should request them.

I also stick them in my backpack. But at my college they do have recycle bins. Although, I have seen people tossing recyclables to the trash. I want to tell them off; unfortunately, I never let them know what they are doing is wrong.

When you guys have time can you please take action on helping pass the Global Warming Wildlife Survival Act.

I save my recyclables, too. Luckily, they have some recycle containers at my community college, namely, the Rocklin, CA, chapter of Sierra College.

I'm sure my college has some. I've visited before, and I've even eaten there, but I always took my bottles with me because I didn't finish it lol

Well, I have finally gotten a chance to see a couple of episodes of Planet Earth. Wow! What an amazing show. The 2 episodes I saw were "Caves" and "Fresh Water". This is one of the most beautifully shot nature shows I have ever seen.

I can't wait to see the rest!

I think it most likely will be, atleast it should be. If I have money by that time I will buy the blu-ray set. Hopefully they adress some technical issues that several people were complaining about.

I think I just found my new pet peeve. My Dad is always leaving the huge kitchen light on even during the daytime  Of course our apartment has an open floor plan, and between the windows and sliding door there really is no need to leave any lights on until 10pm almost.

Ok, rants done now. In other news I'm moving sometime in August/early September. We're buying a trailer, and my Dad wants to put a bunch of additions on. So I'm wondering how I could make it more environment friendly?? I really want to start planning it out soon so that my Dad knows what to get, how much it might cost etc.

Why don't you explain to your father about this? Maybe you're afraid he'll yell at you or something?

Actually he just sort of put me in charge  He doesn't care too much about picking stuff like paint colors....well anything to do with interior decorating, it's not his thing  So he told me to go for it and plan out the rooms. So I figured if I have free reign I may as well do it as Eco-Friendly as possible, only problem is I haven't found any online sites yet that are any good :(

Chernabog_Rocks, I have tried looking for websites regarding your trailer, but no luck. I found one site that hopefully can help a bit.

Yesterday, my mom was going through her grocery receipt and realized that we got charged an addition fee ( besides tax and sale price) for water bottles. The additional fee was about a $1 and cents. She said we are probably not going to buy bottled water again, wgich is fine by me. Not only is the produciotn of creating a bottle expensive, but also very harmful to the environment (if no disposed of properly). What do you think about this additional fee, is it in the whole US or just California?

Thanks for the link Beastboy. I found an eco-friendly book in my room today  I'll have to read through see what it says. When we move I'll make sure my Dad gets all the bulbs changed to Energy Saving ones.

Well, you're one of the lucky ones about the endangerment of the bottles. I have yet to be charged extra for the bottles. I guess it just hasn't hit my area yet. But these bottles are one of the things I dispose of properly. I actually dispose of them by not disposing of them, but rather by recycling them. And it's not just water bottles I recycle, either, oh, no; I also recycle other plastic bottles, too, especially those big soda ones.

I've heard that the new place we're moving into has all new appliances, hopefully they're all eco-friendly. This has probably been answered already, but is there eco-friendly paint? I remember hearing something about a brand that's out that is, might have to google it. For now I've been trying to find a list of plants poisonous to cats so that I don't buy any that could harm ours.

When you guys have time can you please sign a petition? It will hopefully stop Aerial gunning of wolves.
