Why anyone thinks that dreadful cover looks better than the stunningly beautiful R1 cover is beyond me. All of the characters look way off, Ariel and Flounder in particular look like a bad sketch. What's worse, it's a one-disc release!

Escapay is a Little Mermaid hater! He's jealous of all the love we have for The Little Mermaid! I say we all swim over to Escapay's house, drag him down, under the sea, to Ursula, where she can turn him into part of her "garden". Let's get him! ;)
Mwahaha! It's hard to catch someone who can escape in his TARDIS!

Yeah, but I already have the US DVD, and I'm going to buy the Spanish edition too, because of the cover art (I love that Ariel!!!) and for the new translation.

Yeah, it does suck. Do ya think Germany won't also get the Audio Commentary and the Storm Warning Featurette? Just curious. :)

I'd guess deleted scenes since that seems to be the one *main* thing missing from this list of bonus features. Though I don't know how deleted scenes translates into news...

Could also be sneak peeks...

I have to say, that I'm not happy with this new sound mix. My favourite scene from TLM is "Poor Unfortunate Souls" and I must have watchd it over thousand times by now from the previous DVD-release (R2) and in that scene the sound in the older DVD-version is much more sweeping, more magical, more bass - clearly better than this new mix. Now Ariel's voice is too loud and many soundeffects are almost impossible to hear since the character voices are too loud. And where is bass from that scene where Ursula rises the magic hands from her cauldron? I have great soundsystem so it's not that.
What a dissappointment. :(

It is sneak peaks. I just had my region 3 version. It has the same bonus features as the spanish version. What a crappy release it is- single disc with only an 18-minute the making.
