Jules: You know the shows on TV?
Vincent: I don't watch TV.
Jules: Yeah, but, you are aware that there's an invention called television, and on this invention they show shows, right?

I made Orange French Toast with orange maple syrup to break my fast. Quite delicious.

I also made Orange Meringue Pie, the fourth orange-flavoured dish I've made in the past week. (Even the crust was orange-flavoured.) The meringue wept a bit, but other than that tiny mishap, it turned out fine and tasted great. However, although I am fascinated by the ability of egg whites to completely change their consistency and appearance by the mere touch of electric beaters, I do think meringue is rather a tasteless waste of those egg whites.

^ Someone likes oranges! I can't stand oranges unless they're by themselves. The flavor is waaaay too overpowering.

I made some grilled cheese. waffles (frozen from TJ's), and I microwaved 2 itty bitty slices of vegan apple pie. Yum to the max.

On Sunday I made Boston creme pie. I made too much creme filling, so I keep the superfluous amount in the fridge and am going to eat some tonight for a snack. Tastes like vanilla pudding. :float: (We should really have an emoticon of a smiley face licking his lips, but "Merrily Floating" will do O.K. here.)

I made Lemon Sponge Custard. It was baked in six individual ramekins, and consisted of a sponge-cakey top layer blanketing a creamy lemon custard. It was quite yummy, even though lemon is not one of my favourite flavours. The trouble is, the recipe made six servings, and there are only five people in my family. My dad seems to think he's entitled to the last custard, but I'm of the opinion that the chef deserves that accolade.
