Actually, this site was created to have discussions with other Disney fans. Yes, I actually do believe Disney looks at this forum for feedback(I mean Disney must've finally gotten sick of our whining about the DA shows not coming to DVD! ) but it was actually created by someone who doesn't work for Disney(unless Luke's hiding something) and he created this site to bring us news and information about Disney.

They would say...
"We like being creative but we're too lazy to make a long title." :D

And I would have to say...
"asphinctersayswhat..."
Disney CO: "What?..."
"asphinctersayswhat..."
Disney CO: "What? :? "
"Exaclty!"

Oh and look at what uncle Zoltack found. Unless you all seen it already? :? This is probably going to be the cover... unless they decide to change it the last minute. I think it's good not too much stuff, not too little. Something I would expect.

Also here's the cast... which might change too. :D

Cast:
Bambi - Alexander Gould
G.P. - Patrick Stewart
Thumper - Brendon Baerg
Flower - Nicky Jones
Faline - Andrea Bowen
Ronno - Anthony Ghannam
Thumper's Sister - Ariel Winter
Thumper's Sister - McKenna Cowgill
Owl - Keith Ferguson
Porcupine - Brian Pimental
Bambi's Mother - Carolyn Hennesy
Mena - Cree Summer

I only know one or two actors in this movie (Patrick Stewart and Keith Ferguson). And why is Bambi's Mother in this movie, I thought she was dead? Maybe he has flashbacks in the new movie or maybe they're replaying the scene where she dies. That's the only logic behind that or maybe she's a zombie. Oh and we're introduced to a porcupine, that otta be interesting and who is Mena?... they must mean Aunt Ena that's the only logic behind that. I'm a little disapointed... more or less puzzled why we're not introduced to squirrels. They were in the book, they were in the last movie now... where are all the freaking squirrels?! :D Atleast the guy who directed Aladdin and BATB is directing this movie to so that's a plus cuz those movies were good.

And I didn't get this info at IMDB. Isn't that amazing?

^ IMDB doesn't have this info. :P :P So I knew it didn't come from there.

Out of all of those people, the only ones I recognize are Patrick Stewart and Alexander Gould...the rest are mysteries to me. Maybe that's a good thing--they weren't going for well known child actors simply for name recognition. Not that they can get voices that sound exactly like the originals.

Cover's not bad at all...actually the artwork reminds me of previous Bambi covers, so if the actual film appeared as that, it wouldn't be too far off the original we grew up with.

Of course this is all speculation. :P I really am being idealistic here.

Well no most of the children that did the voices in the last movie they're over 70 years old right now. And most if not all of the adult actors have passed away. The guy who did the voice of Bambi (Adult) was 32 years old when doing that part. So of course you can't use the original cast but I'm glad they picked Patrick Stewart even though I think Hugo Weaving has a better voice for GP or even Ian McKellen. Let's just get everyone from X-Men to do this movie. ;)

Yeah the cover doesn't look bad at all but that doesn't really mean that the movie is going to be good or bad. All we can do now is assume but the wait is killing me, I want to see what they did. And what I would like to now is why did it take them 63 years to come up with something like this? But from the trailer I can tell it's going to be really far from the original... hey maybe even better........ naaaahhh! :D

I really hope they don't sing! rotfl

The only way they would have seen it is if they ventured off the forum and onto various other parts of UD sometime in the past month. So that's unlikely.

who cares? anyway she´s not with us anymore :P

I´m now really puzzled because of the cast, many unknown voices--at least for me-- and Mena...yep, maybe they ment "Aunt Enna"

About Bambi´s mom I really hope that is on flashbacks, because if they ment to recreate the chase, why woukld they have to change the voice if they can take the now-restored original audio.

Maybe wi´ll watch some new scenes of Bambi and his mom :D

Ian McKellen as the Great Prince?! Unless we wanted him to be a white fighting wizard or a villian with a magnetic personality....but I think that Patric Stweart will do just fine

You know I get the funniest feeling that they're going to change the cover, I just get that feeling you know. I mean they already changed the title so why not the cover. It's November the movie doesn't come out until Febuary, that's plenty of time to change things. I don't think it needs to be changed it looks pretty shaaaweet to me.

Mena - Could be GP's new mate. Because I've heard in little synopsos(spell ?) that Bambi get's all mad because GP tries to find a new mate. I don't know. It's just one of those crazy Disney mysteries.

And a thing about Ronno too. The first time Bambi meets him, he is an adult on the gimp because his leg got shot, that's how the story goes. So why is he same age as Bambi w/o a shot up leg in this movie? Oh, it's because they're not following the story at all!!! I forgot. I just hope he doesn't talk to much, I mean we already know he's the rival, we don't need to develope his character anymore than that. Ronno really wasn't a bad guy to begin with... he just liked Faline too. :D

but hey all of these questions can be answered sooner when you read the BOOK that I just found!!! To heck with the movie you can just read it but I do like animation so I'm still getting the movie but the artwork looks better in this book. I found this on Amazon it's coming out Dec. 27. yesssssss!!! Now we'll get some serious infomation.

Ohh but the recommended age group is 4-8 years old that's too *advanced* for me... dang! ;)

The speculation's killing me. :P :P I really have no idea why I want to see this, because of the multiple sequels I've watched (not just Disney) I hated them and wished they were never made...so the odds are I wouldn't be missing anything if I just passed this one over. Right?

Since the Great Prince never really said anything in the original, the voice shouldn't be too far off. Even the one that did speak those ten words sounds a bit like PS I guess.

Oh and yeah...don't break into song. Unfortunately, the odds are they will--Disney sequels usually have just as many songs as the originals...so those odds suck as well.

I hope they don´t, because even that Bambi was the Disney animated movie with the less dialogues(spelling) it had 4 songs!

they will do a book!? :o well...that´s really pretty unexpected
at least the Bambi of that image doesn´t have the really thin neck that the one of the movie have.

Because they want you to order the movie before watching the trailer. You see people will order it then they'll watch the trailer then they're like "oh I don't want this." :D Yeah you would think they would give you more information before asking you to order it.

Ummm, have you been paying attention Isidour! I found this change right away. The title is Bambi II but on the Bambi PE DVD it's Bambi and the Great Prince of the Forest. Which is absolutly retarded, I'm sorry to say... why didn't they just keep the original title... WHY?!? It's just plain rediculous

Man Walt Disney must be spinning in his grave or whatever he is in!

Diane Disney Miller has said many times that Walt isn't frozen somewhere and that he was cremated, so I'm assuming the ashes are spinning in a grave, Zol. Depends on who you believe.

I can't speak for the title change...because really, it isn't a sequel, so "Bambi II" is kind of bogus. At least what they had on the original PE made sense--a part of the Bambi story.

Well, I deffenitly wont be angy any more because I would be laughing my head off but for a minute then I would kick him again and I would say "That's for Cinderella III!!!" Which I think is going to be stupid given the plot. Ahhhh!!!

My Final Thought On Bambi II:
Even though we haven't seen the new movie yet we can only assume what it's going to be like. I have this feeling of excitement cuz you know it's a new chapter we would like to know what happens after Bambi's mother dies. I like the fact that they use traditional animation instead of CGI. I have a feeling that this movie is going to be as good as BATB and Aladdin because the guy who directed those movies is directing Bambi II. I wish they would of let the title alone, the actors are alright, I have no beef with them and as for the plot... well I can only hope. And....
I really hope they don't sing. :D Ok... that joke is getting old. ;)
