Personally, I thought it was awful. I understand why they made it sound like that, but my gosh, just no

Hate to be "that guy", but I liked it. It's better than that stupid end credits song in Tim Burton's Alice.

Same here, even if I have zero interest in the movie. It has a very somber mood, which seems to fit the movie from what I've seen.

BTW: One hour has gone by since the Grammys aired and still no Maleficent preview yet. But there's still plenty of time left.

That was fantastic and has me very excited for a movie that I had no intention of being excited for.

Really solid trailer.

I can see the lack of dialogue being a concern, but I think it shows a lot of confidence in Jolie by the way it's presented: moments when you'd expect a line (or a continuation of one) and instead you get a facial expression for the delivery. Some powerful stuff there. It makes me think that they aren't trying to have this be chock full of witty one-liners and instead are really trying to show the layers of the character.

Here's hoping THIS trailer is a true reflection of the actual movie.

Agreed. It also seems Angelina's acting will be less artificial than I expected and that's a good thing. I really liked this trailer.

Ok... This last trailer is better than the earlier ones.. But I still don't like what they're doing with the movie.

I don't like that the scenery and backgrounds are not as stylized as the classic.
I don't like that big battle scene with the forest creatures, etc.. It's all just too much for me.
A simple story about how EVIL maleficent is would have been better.

I might avoid everything from now till the movie comes out cause I don't want to go into the movie knowing it's gonna be bad.

As for Lana Del Rey's song.
I didn't have high expectations. It was just disappointing cause they didn't do anything different. They just made it darker. Imagine if they did a whole new orchestration.
Honestly.. It sounded boring to me..

Ummmm...well, I mean it does look interesting in a way but I'm still just having a hard time with this new background on one of my favorite villainesses. Perhaps when the movie comes out, I'll feel differently.

It's a nice trailer, but I'm still keeping my "I read the script leak details in this very thread" skepticism until reviews come out.

Also, that Biollante looking thing better not be the film's substitute for Maleficent's Dragon Mode...

Loved the Lana interpratation of 'Once' .... Haunting and beautiful, in a completely different way from the original yet still remaining true to it.

New trailer was fabulous too! I would like Disney to leave it there now though for a while; I don't want too much of the film to be endlessly vomited out into poorly cut trailers after the 4 great ones we have already had (two teaser variants and two full length ones).
