Re: Tangled
Wow, really? A studio having creative control over their own movies? Are you serious?Disney Duster wrote:Excuses exscuses. You already know they didn't make the change, that the marketers made the change for them and they had to deal with it. I'm just pointing out they're still bummed about it and it's still a travesty they have to deal with something that changes their creative, intended vision. I am just pointing it all out.

There's no way to know how they feel, because either they're all right with it, or they will never badmouth the studio they're currently working for. And if you're all about creative intention, you should only be pissed at Glen Keane's removal in the first place, and don't care about the rest. The movie looks to be amazing, everyone who's seen it says so, it's just the title that's changed. How is that changing their creative vision?

No. Doing what he did would be like posting a picture of Ray at the end of Princess and the Frog before the movie came out, on a forum where are a TON of people who would rather see the movie and be surprised the first time.megustajake wrote:You guys need to give Polizzi a break...
It seems to be a mutual understanding among everyone else.
Wow, I'm so glad I didn't come on here earlier, before Polizzi took the picture down! All I can say is a huge THANK YOU to singerguy04, SWillie!, Prince Kido, and the others who convinced him to finally take it down so that I, and others, can remain happily unspoiled.
I have no idea what the picture showed, but I can tell it would have ruined the movie for me. My sympathy goes out to those who were not so lucky, and saw the picture by accident.
And I agree with SWillie! -- nobody needs to give Polizzi a break. Some of the things he does are just inexcusably annoying.

I think it's best to move on now. That fiasco has been adverted, and Pollizi has seen the error in his ways. Now for his sake, and for the sake of the forum, we should forgive and forget.
That Double Tower video is by far some of the best marketing I've seen for a modern Disney film. The next best thing would be to do a Sassy Gay Friend video as well. The only issue I have with it, is that it seems like a Shrekish kind of move. For some reason that seems acceptable though for marketing. Probably because I know this isn't a part of the film.

It shows Rapunzel in the end of the film who has undergone a ''transformation'' in her appearance. She has short brown hair and a different dress.blackcauldron85 wrote:What image was posted?!? (You can tell me in white or PM me or something!)
