On the Facebook Tangled's official page, Fan Board section, you can watch a funny new viral video which is a parody of a famous Youtube video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQSNhk5ICTI ) and which features a little new footage.
Very clever and fun. Please follow this link : http://www.Tangledtower.com

That seems like the first time that the marketing would actually draw male audiences to the movie.Prince Kido wrote:On the Facebook Tangled's official page, Fan Board section, you can watch a funny new viral video which is a parody of a famous Youtube video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQSNhk5ICTI ) and which features a little new footage.

Also anyone else curious how they came up with the idea? Did they just see the video online and say "dude! That wicked video just screams Tangled all over man."

And I wonder if they got paid?

New spoilers! Someone read the How to Draw book and has posted new information. BEWARE SPOILERS
hhttp://www.stitchkingdom.com/disney-news/movie ... ails-film/
It's interesting that Flynn Rider isn't his real name. I wonder if they will mention his real name in the movie? Maybe it's Bob or Billy?
Also the biggest spoiler is that Flynn is the one that cuts her hair and then her hair turns brown. Go brunettes!

It is a good thing that I posted this in white ink in case of spoilers. Enjoy the description from Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)."
Birthday lanterns – There are a thousand of them. They’re launched every year on Princess Rapunzel’s birthday in the hopes they’ll guide her back to her rightful home with the King and Queen. They found their inspiration in the single floating lantern the King launched on the day Rapunzel was born.
Maximus – He is a member of the King’s royal guard (I knew this already). He actually doesn’t befriend Flynn (whom he’s initially chasing) until after Flynn meets Rapunzel. In fact, it’s Rapunzel who brings them together.
Flynn Rider – He’s not Flynn Rider. Although he does reveal his real name to Rapunzel, his adopted pseudonym comes from a childhood hero of his, Flynnegan Rider. As we already know, Rapunzel clobbers him when he attempts to break into her tower and steal her possessions. In exchange for his satchel back, Rapunzel makes him help her escape from the tower so she can experience the birthday lanterns up close and personal and then return to the tower before Mother Gothel realizes she’s been missing.
The Thugs – In order to discourage Rapunzel, Flynn takes her to the Snuggly Duckling, a tavern filled with the most horrid and evil looking gents all of whom are sure to be looking for trouble, but they aren’t. That’s the moral of the story: beauty is only skin deep (unless you’re one of the lucky few like Flynn or Rapunzel who have it all anyway). It’s just a ragtag group of misunderstood monsters. There’s the Stabbington Brothers (the ones Flynn leaves behind in the teaser trailer), Atilla Cupcake Thug (who’d rather be baking — he even has a cupcake tattoo on his arm and wears oven mitts instead of gloves), the Killer Sewing Thug who has pin cushions for shoulder pads, the Big Nosed Thug who is a diehard romantic but cursed with poor genetics and Tor Florist Thug whose weapons consist of ordinary gardening tools.
(Princess) Rapunzel – Not too many spoilers to offer considering she spends most of her life locked in a tower until she convinces Flynn whatever-his-name-is to take her outside. Well she naturally falls in love with him as Disney princesses will and when Mother Gothel finds out, she considers Flynn to be too large a threat so she has Flynn framed and tossed in jail. When Flynn breaks out of jail with the help of Maximus and the romantic thugs, he returns to the tower and calls for Rapunzel to ‘let down your hair,’ which she does. Only when Flynn reaches the top, he comes face-to-face with Mother Gothel who (almost) mortally wounds him. Rapunzel’s hair has healing powers so at the begging of Rapunzel, Gothel will allow Rapunzel to heal Flynn providing she never again leaves the tower. Rapunzel agrees, but Flynn will have none of it and — in an admittedly logistical mistake — cuts off Rapunzel’s hair, proving he’d rather die than have Rapunzel spend her life locked up. Instantly the magic is lost (which opens up another logistic issue in the story) and Rapunzel’s remaining hair shrivels up and turns brown (sorry, brunettes, but Disney had to offend someone afterall). Because her hair (?) was keeping Mother Gothel young for 18 years, Gothel mysteriously ages by a few hundred years (karma’s a beach, innit?) and fades away. And Flynn? No, he doesn’t die of course, despite the magical hair being all gone, well.. the magic was never really in the hair, was it? or wasn’t it? You’ll have to buy the books or wait for the film for that one.

What about the time somebody or someone else showed the images based on the same color book that can spoil too? They spoiled it too, so why not me? Besides, we already know how the story goes based on Internet Movie Database (IMDb), however, some ideas may yet to be changed in production, unless it is already too late, probably already too late. Also, I believe that the link from the previous message has already given enough information, I just adapted it to give you and other Disney fans an easy way to see than search through the site. Besides, what if some sites are out of order, or what if some Disney fans have a hard time getting in to that site. That is why I adapted it, same for other Disney fans, to give Disney fans a fast way to gaze upon events, arts, and many more from Disney's next project.singerguy04 wrote:Polizzi, that pic needs to come down asap! I wasn't reading the text and i guessed it. then i had to read it to make sure i was right. Create a link to the photo or something!!!!!!!
P.S. I covered the words on the artwork in case of spoiling, before I posted it.
Are you effing crazy?!?! Get rid of that freaking picture right now. For anyone that has been at least trying to stay away from MAJOR spoilers, you have just completely ruined the end of the movie for them. No one has posted anything near that much of a spoiler.Polizzi wrote:What about the time somebody or someone else showed the images based on the same color book that can spoil too? Take it down.
I am not the only one who ruins the movie, somebody or someone else did as well. At least it is on white font. And above all, there are many clues in this thread that can lead to how the story foretold. Thanks a lot to some Disney fans who have revealed of how the story goes, it caused me to share it as well. So it is not just my fault, it is anybody's. But I do have good news to Disney fans, it is not your fault, it is those who have to reveal too many details on the Internet that can easily give it away in other sites, besides this site. If Disney does not want to spoil it, then why did they let others get away with it after revealing too many answers that could lead to spoiling? They could have just kept it secret, and just say to people to wait until the movie comes out. Even Yahoo! spoils ideas from, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1," which of course is based on a novel, and follows the story completely, of how, "Part 1," ends, and where, "Part 2," begins. All I am trying to say is that if it were not for spoilers who have seen the test screening of Disney's, "Rapunzel (Tangled)," asking Disney too many questions about the story of it, or other that could lead to clues of how the movie goes, none of us would never know. But now that we know, it is too late, unless there is still a chance. I wish I know how to remove it if it does kind of bit spoiled it too much, but there are previous messages on this thread that have spoiled enough. So, sorry.

The point you are still not getting is that, although others have talked about spoilers, the white font mostly makes them unreadable unless you highlight the text. That photo that you posted isn't anything like that. I can blatantly see it, and yes you took text out of the photo but it's freakin' obvious whats going on.
Beyond that, your whole point about it being Disney's fault for releasing spoilers is complete rubbish. How else would anyone know of a lot of this stuff if people weren't spreading it around the internet once the see it. They need to get this merchandise made for the film's release. They can't help that people see it early. Beyond that, it's definitely not my fault or anyone else's that you're posting those images when I'd rather avoid them.
Again, I ask that you remove the photo before you ruin many people's experience/chance to see this spoiler FOR THEMSELVES!
You can discuss all you want this photo in white, but in the meantime please take it down. That is probably the nicest way you'll hear anyone who sees that pic that doesn't want to know spoilers ask you to remove it.
--EDIT--
To continue my point, if the people following the topic wanted the spoilers they could've read Anamalia's whited out post, or clicked on the link themselves. It wasn't your place to come in and "save the day" by posting pictures from the link that was blatantly labeled BEWARE SPOILERS.

Polizzi,
I can understand that at first it's not your fault if there were so many spoilers that were revealed and shared on the web.
Sure, I also can't understand why the books are being released that early before the movie's release and I think this is too bad to reveal that kind of huge spoilers.
I'm glad you "hide" the spoilers texts, but the bad thing is that the image you posted is not hidden and there is no way you can avoid to see it, which is realllly too sad for me.
The Marketing and Consumer Products guys from Disney ARE NOT the ones who don't want the story to be revealed that soon, but the Production Crew tries hard anyway to not spoil too much and you're not respect them enough.
You have to think that it's not about WHO will be the first to post a spoiler or an exclusive thing, which I can clearly understand being a Disney fan, and more because I have tons of stuff from the movie for months that I can't share, being one of the illustrators for Tangled's books...but it's more about respect people, fans and the animation crew at Disney studio for now.
So please, can you take off this image please?
If some of the fans want to see that kind of spoilers, then they'll see by themselves in the books in stores and that's all.
Anyway, I think I will refer to Disney about that, sorry.

I guess I kind of over did it, but to tell you the truth, I kind of do not like the idea of it. I was thinking of something like this:
After Rapunzel cuts off her hair, Mother Gothel returns to her normal age after 18 years of becoming young, and dies by becoming disintegrated, nothing but ashes and her devilish red dress. She comes to Flynn Rider, burst tears upon his eyes, and restores him back to life (I find that copyright infringement against Jesus Christ, I hope Disney has big money to pay for God's lawyers. Sorry for bringing that up.). After that, he pats Rapunzel's hair to comfort her since she gave herself a hair cut, and suddenly it begins to grow back into its normal length, and return her color of her hair into blond. They return to Corona, reunites with her parents, get married, and lived happily ever after. Just a thought.
By the way, now I know how to remove it.
