Agreed, 100%. I'm not sure how I feel about Oprah being in a Disney movie but, like you (singerguy04) said, it was a very smart move, and IMO, it's almost a guaranteed success at this point.singerguy04 wrote:I think having Oprah be apart of this film is genius as far as a political stand point. She is seen as one of the most positive black role models of today, and that fact that she's basically saying she endorses this film will be selling the ticket for a lot of people. This is very exciting news to me because there's very little that Oprah touches that doesn't turn to gold.

Ow yes, I forgot Mulan! But she isn't a real princess anyways.Ariel'sprince wrote:No,she's the third Princess with a mother (Aurora and Mulan has mothers and Mulan even has a grandmother).
And Snow White,Belle,Pocahontas,Ariel and Jasmine has dead mother that were only mentioned/shown in merchandise and Princess DVDs (exept Pochaontas that her mother was mentioned in the film).

oh dear, here we go again...
just to save sprince some air, or typing energy...? Anyway, According to the Disney Princess franchise Mulan is a princess, although she doesn't actually have any royal blood at all in her nor does she marry into royal blood. Apparently it doesn't matter though, and she has the princess title. Further proof of this is the Enchanted Tales video line (assuming her volume comes out), she has her own page on the disney princess website, and dolls at the Disney Store. Really that's all the proof we have come to think of it. She is a princess to Disney though and that is the bottom line.

Mine says 2009, and i'm in R1.
Although they are the same looking and have the same material, they are not carbon copies of each other. The Princess and the Frog is supposed to be released in the fall here, probably November like Bolt. If that's the case, maybe those of you in R3 aren't going to get the film in theaters until January or later making it's release date in 2010.
