So MickeyMousePal, Do you use an on-line spot to catagorize your dvd's. I use www.dvdspot.com, I think I may have told you that in the chat room one day.

I don't want to burst your bubble MMP but there's a freak in the middle of your collection that might steal ypur DVDS from you. 8)

Also, why don't you get rid of old DVD versions that look horrible or don't have any worth features by now? Like that GC Pocahontas?

He's a completist. I think he wanted the entire GC line, which explains GC Pocahontas and Alice in Wonderland. And Pals also mentioned that he's buying the Tarzan NSSE and TENG NSNG just so he could watch those instead of his CE's.

LOL. Maybe they're foreign films that the kids won't understand anyway, or artistic movies with instances of nudity. Or of course, they could also be embarrasing home movies with 1980s fashion and hairstyles.

I never thought to separate DVDs by their MPAA rating. Then again, I don't have children (yet), so I can see why you arranged yours by rating, memnv.

DVDs they buy or just the ones they watch so frequently you might as well put them in their rooms?

well one child is 4 the other is 1 1/2, so the didnt buy them but mostly it is stuff like Tom and Jerry, Sponge Bob, Scooby Doo and Popeye which josh always watches. They are above his dvd player where he cant reach. My wife also does day care at the house and the movies are not where the kids she watches can get their hands on them

Pals, he was joking. I'm sure he's well aware that the person in the picture is you.

Very nice collection; I'm jealous. You've got almost two copies of all the classics and I only have one copy of about 1/3 of the classics. I'll never understand your logic of getting the new (pointless) editions of Tarzan and TENG when you have the Collector's Editions, but I can't say they won't look good on your shelf! :D

Wait, MickeyMousePal, do you keep your DVDs in your dorm room, and do you share it with someone? Since if I go to college, I'm never gonna put DVDs in the room because roomates can steal it. :P

Just commute to college, that way the DVDs stay safe at home. Of course, that would be hard if you're in Boston and decide to go to, say University of Miami. :P

I never did the dorm thing although I sort of wanted to get out but no one in my class was into the whole dorm thing either.
I would suggest burning all your DVDs if possible if you are in a college dorm. It's something I've suggested to a few people who have worried and they go... "Oh yeah! I've never thought of that before."
