Re: Once Upon A Time (ABC TV Series)
I very much enjoyed it!
Tamara and Greg died way too quick. They led us through all that crap last season just to die in the first Season 3 episode? Ugh. Also, the ship scenes were... amusing. The cat fight during a storm? I was wondering if it was some sort of April Fools joke. "Is this a comedy?" xD But Regina's sass was fun. "Rainbow kisses and unicorn stickers!"

I think you should watch with us in the US, as by the time spring comes, there are going to be a lot of talk of spoilers between now and the spring of 2014 you don't want to risk being spoiled. That's my two cents about it.atlanticaunderthesea wrote:Honest opinion - do I watch it with you guys in the US, or do I wait until next Spring ...

Re: Once Upon A Time (ABC TV Series)
I liked parts of it, but mostly I'm floating through to see The Little Mermaid. I can't say Peter Pan has ever been one of my favorite stories, but I do like the darker aspect they'regiving it (compared to the Disney film, anyway) and the actor for Peter seemed like a good choice. I did like the stuff going on with Regina and Snow, particularly when Snow punched her in the face.
It seems like their focusing on the things a lot of people complained about last season--mainly the lack of meaningful interaction between Emma and her parents (onscreen), and Snow's wimpiness and inability to lay down the law with Regina no matter how many times she tries to kill them.
Btw, can I say I really wish they had got a different actor for Neal/Baelfire?

It´s kind of interesting the fact that Cinderella is supposed to be the most important princess yet she has been totally forgotten.
On the other hand, Aurora is barely on Sleeping Beauty yet here she´s gotten a regular role.

My dad and I cracked up at that one
I think that's the first time they've actually acknowledged a Disney Animated Film in this show. Well they didn't mention Disney itself but I still laughed at it.

For those who don't know, the download version of the season premiere features 20 minutes from the premiere episode of OUAT in Wonderland. At least on iTunes

Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas Are Engaged! Once Upon a Time Costars Are "So Thrilled"

The part I put in bold actually sounds like the first season of Once Upon a Timealk about a fairy-tale romance!
Once Upon a Time costars Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas are engaged, the couple's reps confirmed to E! News on Friday, Oct. 11. Per People (who was first to report the happy news) Dallas (Prince Charming) proposed to Goodwin (Snow White) on Wednesday, Oct. 8 in L.A.
"We are so thrilled to announce our engagement and can't wait to celebrate with our friends and family, including our second family at Once Upon a Time," the pair said in a statement.
Back in March 2012, a source told E! News that Goodwin, 35, and Dallas, 31, had an "immediate connection when they met" in 2011. At the time, Dallas was married to Sherlock star Lara Pulver, so initially he and Goodwin were "just friends."
"They were shooting in Canada together," said a source, "and because they were both away from home, they inevitably started to socialize together off the set as well as on—and they got closer as friends."
Ultimately, it was the distance between Dallas and Pulver that caused them to split in the fall of 2011, and "it was then that his connection to Ginnifer deepened and they fell in love."
"The relationship has been full-on since the moment it turned romantic," the source added, "and they spend every moment together. There was no reason to wait and take it slow—they fell in love, and it feels right."
Clearly, those initial, magical feelings of attraction were very real! This will be the second marriage for Dallas and the first for Goodwin, who broke off her engagement to Joey Kern in May 2011.
But now that Snow White and Prince Charming are together, it looks like they've got a lock on happily ever after!

Wow, that's a big thing. On one hand a huge risk for their performance should things go a bit south. On the other, it's so romantic!
Anyway, I like tonights show. Kind of made the Blue Fairy look bad though

What wanted Mulan say to Aurora?
That she is in love with her or with Prince Phillip?
Because I think that she likes Aurora!!!

Re: Once Upon A Time (ABC TV Series)
That really shocked me too!
However, I have to REFUSE to believe that. Not that I have anything against that theme. Just NOT for the character:
1.Yes, the isn´t an exact representation of the Disney characters. They´re free to use them as they will. But still the fact is that Mulan isn´t lesbian (as far as the animated movie is concerned).
2. Mulan spent lots of time with Phillip. And it was implied that she was in love with him. Besides, she spent much more time with him than Aurora.
3. It would be cliché. Any other "normal" character isn´t gay. Just Mulan that happens to be a warrior.
Please, someone that can tell us that we misunderstood.

Mulan actually asked if Phillip was there and Aurora said that he wasn't. When she found out Aurora was pregnant, she knew she couldn't pursue Phillip, so when Aurora asked Mulan to tell her good news, Mulan then says she's going to be with the Merry Men because it would be too painful for her to see Phillip or Aurora again.DC Fan wrote:That really shocked me too!

Re: Once Upon A Time (ABC TV Series)
i couldn't figure it out either. I think they were implying that she had feelings for Aorora, though. While I get the appeal of introducing a gay character, I think Mulan probably is the worst choice because it's so cliche ie, strong, non-conforming woman = lesbian. What sort of message does that send? If you are gay you have to be badass? Or if you are strong/tough, you must be gay?

Re: Once Upon A Time (ABC TV Series)
Surprised they went there with Mulan. Even my mother picked up on it. Tbh, there is a lot of lesbian vibes with this series. Mulan/Aurora and Regina/Emma have both been very popular. I can definitely see the chemistry between these characters, but really never expected the show to address it openly.
Tinkerbell and Robin Hood--both underwhelming.
Btw, spoiler-wise, the creators have said that Ursula will appear this season, with a "twist," whatever that means.... *really worried they're going to screw her up or throw her to the side while Peter Pan is the focus*

Re: Once Upon A Time (ABC TV Series)
I can't look up the episode, but I swear during the early episodes of the 2nd season Mulan had a love triangle with Aurora and Phillip, and it was hinted that she loved Phillip because she very badly wanted to search for him. I can't remember exactly what transpired but it was heavily implied or even flat out said she wanted him. And I think she asked if Phillip was around, and just wanted to talk to Aurora, I think it was because she had to talk to Aurora who already knew what she was going to talk about, that she wanted Phillip. She said "Why are you smiling at me", and I think that was because she had bad news for Aurora and she was wondering why Aurora was so happy with the unhappy news she had for Aurora (that she loves her husband!).
I just found this on the official web site: Once Upon A Time Episode Guide. They wrote this in an episode synopsis:
I just found this on the official web site: Once Upon A Time Episode Guide. They wrote this in an episode synopsis:
And then there's more:Meanwhile, we rejoin Mulan in the darkened forest, searching for Phillip. She hears a noise, pulls out her sword only to see... Aurora, atop a horse, a bit smug at having caught up with Mulan, and demanding to accompany the warrior. Mulan slams Aurora, telling her that she has no idea what Phillip has given up to rescue her; it’s a sacrifice of which Aurora has no conception, Mulan’s passionate tirade clues Aurora in to something. “You love him.” Mulan denies this, protesting that they are merely warriors who have fought by each other’s side, but Aurora is unconvinced. Mulan dismisses the Princess and tells her that she, Mulan, is the best chance Phillip has. Neither woman can seem to accept the perspective of the other, but when Aurora tells Mulan that she’s willing to do whatever it takes to help Phillip, Mulan sees the resolve of the Princess.
Phillip hears a noise, suspects the Wraith, but instead it’s Mulan and Aurora running up. Phillip tells them to stay back, but they protest, wanting to help him fight. Phillip tells them it’s futile, and that he’s already decided that he’ll need to sacrifice himself. But Mulan tells him there is a way. To Aurora’s shock, she offers to use the talisman to mark herself and take Phillip’s place. Mulan had told her before that love means sacrifice, and now she’s proving it. But Phillip won’t let Mulan take his place, even as the Wraith appears.

her love for Phillip hasn't been a secret, at least not in 201. But this is intriguing. Still not shocking she backed down.bruno_wbt wrote:What wanted Mulan say to Aurora?

What do you think?
What was somewhat surprising is that Robin Hood is Regina's Soul Mate, but this series cant introduce anything without making it big.
Loved Tink!
