The coupon states ONLY for the 3-disc combo pack. And they highlighted the gold cover as well. So that is very confusing.Christopher_TCUIH wrote:^ I was annoyed about the coupon too but my email said it was for the Combo pack as well so for anyone who's hesitant too don't worry

Cinderella Music Box
I'm not sure if anyone has mention this or not but at Walmart, they are selling Cinderella Music Box Set which includes 2 cd's (Songs and Story - Cinderella and Cinderella Soundtrack). This includes a DVD of Tangled Ever After. ( http://www.walmart.com/ip/21678212 ). This Cinderella Soundtrack is not the limited edition that includes the extra songs ( http://www.walmart.com/ip/21678208 ) but I thought I would share.
I pre-ordered the Blu-Ray/DVD from Disney Store. But it makes me mad that they did not offer the Gold Slip Cover Verison. I'll probably buy that one too as long as I can print off the coupon.

^I ALWAYS have problems with printing DMR coupons.
I've found, though, that Mozilla is a no-go when you're printing them. I have to go through Internet Explorer, and even then, sometimes it's a pain.
Anyway, I wasn't able to pick up my copy at Best Buy today. Has anybody else gotten theirs from Best Buy? I want to know more about the Lucifer plush! How big is it, how's the quality, etc.? I'd appreciate it!

Thanks, Joe!! I thought Alternate Opening meant a different opening prologue. Lol. As for colors, I can't even tell you what DVNR means. My point was that people who aren't well-versed in film making or animation probably won't be able to tell if Cinderella had a bad restoration or not. Haha.Wonderlicious wrote:1. I know the old DVD included "Work Song" and "Dancing on a Cloud", though I can't recall if there was a third deleted scene on the DVD. Of course, he may have simply miscounted the number of scenes, or counted the new alternate opening along with the others.tsom wrote:1. The review mentioned three deleted scenes. What's the third one?
2. What's the alternate opening about?
3. I think it looks vibrant and beautiful. Shoot, I even LOVE the 2005 DVD colors. To be honest, the restoration isn't really a big deal to me.
2. I don't want to spoil too much, but it's basically an alternate take on Cinderella talking to the birds and mice in her bedroom.
3. I personally don't mind the colours used in the restoration, but what really annoys me is the fact that they blatantly used DVNR. Colours are ultimately subjective (at least from a fan's point of view), but linework is not.
Did anyone get the new soundtrack? I've been listening to 30 second samples of the new recordings of the unused songs and I really like them! I wish some of them were indeed in the movie.
Also, just read Luke's review, and I have to say it kinda makes me sad he isn't a "Cinderella" fan. I mean we are all entitled to our opinions, but I just think that even though the movie wasn't as innovative as say Sleeping Beauty or Pinocchio, simple actually worked and drove people to theaters and brought plenty of revenue for Disney -- more than those other big budget innovations. Just sayin'

Not saying that it's a good thing (or the right thing), but does it really come as a surprise? I say this because #1: it looks like this is becoming the norm now and #2: we've been able to see that this is the case ever since images surfaced for the trilogy jewelry box.Barbossa wrote:Just popped my copy open...

The only positive thing I can glean from the now-standard lack of disc-art is that, well, at least now they're being equal opportunity offenders... They aren't just picking on smaller films like GMD, the Rescuers, Pocahontas or Aristocats if they're also not including art for Cinderella, one of their top-sellers.
