I love how Disney remained consistent by remaining inconsistent in the cover designs for the Signature line as well.

Re: The Walt Disney Signature Collection
It's referring to the multiple formats of the film that are included (Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital). I've always said that their VHS covers for all of these films were too gorgeous for them to butcher artwork on future releases like this. It would be cool if Disney had done what Scream Factory does on their releases by having reversible artwork - the new artwork on one side and the original home video artwork (or theatrical poster) artwork on the other.Atlantica wrote:What does multi screen mean ?![]()

Re: The Walt Disney Signature Collection
It's a nice cover and the new bonus features sound cute, but it doesn't sound like one that requires a double dip. Few of the Signature releases have so far IMO.
Re: The Walt Disney Signature Collection
I love it. I'm so getting it
the cover art looks beautiful

Agree! I just want the digital copy. That is what I have done with all the Signature releases so far.Avaitor wrote:It's a nice cover and the new bonus features sound cute, but it doesn't sound like one that requires a double dip. Few of the Signature releases have so far IMO.

I'm buying solely for the digital copy, and it looks like I'll be buying the Best Buy steelbook. I love how they're resorting to alternate / exclusive artwork to make up for what these releases lack in content, and I hate to admit that it's working.netenyahoo wrote:Agree! I like the Steelbooks when you preordered the movie and they gave you it for preordering. I don’t actual like the discs and the context inside the steelbook itself. To me, it’s bulky and a pain on the shelf, I keep them separate. So now I don’t get the steelbooks anymore because they don’t have them alone.DisneyFreak5282 wrote:I'm buying solely for the digital copy, and it looks like I'll be buying the Best Buy steelbook. I collect the Target digibooks but I hate how they superimposed the pups at an angle hovering over a background that makes no sense in context. I wish they would have used the digital version's cover or the Blu-ray packaging cover.

Re: The Walt Disney Signature Collection
I agree. Unfortunately I didn't own a Blu-Ray player back when they still did that so I never got a chance to own those older Steelbooks. Last year I did buy the Steelbooks for the Signature Edition of TLK (in addition to the standard release) and the live action BatB and actually kept those sealed for collecting purposes and that will more than likely be the case for this one too. It also irks me that they include those paper inserts that wrap around the top of the case. I don't like to throw those away but they're too big to fit inside the case once they're open and you have to fold them in half to get them to fit inside. It would be much better if they reduced those to just the size of the back cover so they'd fit inside.Matt wrote:I like the Steelbooks when you preordered the movie and they gave you it for preordering. Re: The Walt Disney Signature Collection
The Disney Store has lots of Peter Pan plush products right now so that seems to suggest that Peter Pan will also be released this year. Which seems to fit the rumored schedule that this year, the signature editions will be Lady and the Tramp, Peter Pan, and Fantasia.
