Finally... Sorry it took so much time processing.

I haven't read other people's reactions to this movie, but coming back from it just now I just had to post my thoughts! If I were clueless about what's in store for Disney in the coming years I would declare this a possible Disney renaissance (sadly though, I know what lies ahead). Still, that doesn't stop me from loving this movie any less! What started out as a spoof about fairy-tales, hoping to mimick Shrek's wild success, has evolved into a wonderful tale about discovery and magic, much like the old (and not-so-old) Disney classics!
I was smiling from ear to ear all the way through. The animation was tremendous, some of Disney's finest work. To say I'm the biggest CG fan out there would be an utter lie, but I just couldn't help but admire the effort that went into the creation of this fantastic world! Moreover, the characters were just flat out enjoyable from start to finish; The protagonists, the villian, even the sidekicks escaped the claws of annoyingness! The story was great, albeit a bit cliched, though expected from a Disney tale. To top it off, hearing Menken at work again was such a joy and really brought back some fond memories. Kudos, Disney, may all your future projects be as heartfelt and memorable as this latest outing has been. 9/10 for Rapunzel!

I will never get sick of seeing Flynn like that. It's hilarious; I wish it was on a white background for .gif purposes.Fairytales wrote:Lol, i love the little animation that starts at 1:44. For anyone who wants it, this is a download of all the images I have so far for Tangled.
It includes sketches, promotional images, concept art and whatever else I've found. It's definitely not everything and I usually don't save low quality stuff. Just thought I'd share since I uploaded this a little while ago to send to a friend.
