LOL at taking offense to me saying something on Disney channel looks like shit. Everything on that channel is pretty awful and most people here would agree

The issues with which I take offense are:
your problem with consistently making rude and derogatory comments towards other people;
your regular use of gratuitous vulgarity;
and the fact that bringing them to your attention seems to mean nothing to you whatsoever (unless you happen to be on the receiving end of someone else's comment).

Lady Cluck, you need to stop with the thinly veiled insults and the personal attacks immediately. You have been warned about this before. We've repeatedly received complaints about your behavior. There is no reason to rude and antagonistic when expressing your opinions or having an argument. It's becoming increasingly difficult to maintain a friendly and welcoming environment when you're continuously creating a hostile atmosphere with your posts.
In regards to cursing, we tend to be lenient when it comes to mild cases as we don't wish to be constantly policing language, but at least avoid using the f-word in the future. More importantly, you need to stop using the word "bitch" as it constitutes sexist language.
Now, let's move on and get back on topic.

I'm sorry
However, I have made an effort to tone down personal attacks to other posters ever since my warnings. All those comments he quoted are from before! I don't know why they need to be brought up again when I'm trying to change
I am sorry though. All I can be is me and every day I try to become a better person.

Re: Merida to Join the Disney Princess Line
I'm probably going to be bashed by Ariel fans by saying this, but I sympathize more with Merida than I do with Ariel (at least Ariel in the canon movie). Although I shall admit that Merida is a much more grating character (Kelly McDonald's awful voice), I consider her reasons for her rebellion against her mother more legitimate. She's being forced to marry somebody against her will, which is understandable. Ariel, on the other hand, has a fascination with humanity, but really doesn't have a more complex, legitimate reason for wanting to explore the human world than just based on simply naivety.disneyprincess11 wrote: Even though I'm not sorry about it (right now anyway), I do apologize if I hurt you. *hugs* My family really hurt my feelings last night, so I was taking my anger out on you and I apologize. But, really: Stop being too passive about it. Merida is in the lineup and there's nothing you can do about it. It's really not a big deal. And I expected her to join since day 1.
And even though she's not the best role model nor my favorite Princess, I think she's a good addition because she's an ACTUAL teenager. She defies her princess role and she's her own person and fights with her mom, who wants Merida to be just like her. And hey, that's a teenager! How many of us were not like her?
When she has to marry a random guy, she tries to change her fate. (At first I was really creeped out how she used magic on her mom, but it's a Disney movie) What would you do if the same thing happened to you? Yeah, you'd fight for your freedom. And here's my reedem from her: when she screws big time, she actually does something and unlike Ariel, she really does learn her lesson and how much she and her mom love each other.
And just to be said; I'm not a Ariel hater at all. But I do consider her to be (at least in the movie) a quite self-centered character and that for a quite vague reason. At least other Disney protagonist have more legitimate reasons to wanting to be free from their oppression. But on the other hand, I prefer Ariel in the series. She's a much more likeable, warmer, caring and actually a wiser character on the show.

I'm sincerely glad we're getting through to you Lady Cluck and that you're making an effort to change. We do not take any pleasure in issuing warnings to posters; we simply try our best to keep this board a safe and friendly place for everyone.Lady Cluck wrote:I'm sorry. Hi Sotiris, what are your thoughts about "Brave"? I know that I'm asking a lot of questions now, but I'm just curious.
