Yes, a thousand times yes! I would have cheered for her if the scene would have been like this!

Yeah, but it would have gone against her good mannered attitude.

The thing is in the movie we don't know if she would have done it or not because she got interrupted by the messager. I feel like she actually may have done it. Not really hard, just a little smack or two. She did flick a bird for waking her up. ;)

That must be from the blooper reel.

I see what you mean. The Little Mermaid (I assume) is set in Denmark.
And Pinocchio should be connected to Italy (but maybe there wasn't room for that)

I hope you don't mind if I join the conversation, but Bambi should be set in Austria. (It was based on the book by the Austrian Felix Salten. )
I think we should make our own Disney map.

Some of the 'princesses' and 'princes' are a bit farfetched. Since when is Alice a princess and the white rabbit her prince? You could just as well choose the mad Hatter vs Alice. And there really isn't much difference between the way Mulan and Chang dress.. as we all know Mulan wears men's dress for the greatest part of her movie. It would be hilarious though to see Chang dressed in the clothes Mulan wore when she presented herself to the matchmaker.
For the most part the princesses look quite smart in their princes' outfit.
