Toy Story 3
I wonder what happens to the other toys too, like Wheezy, Rocky, Lenny, Mr. Mike, Etch-A-Sketch, and them. Hopefully they show them in some way rather than just forget about 'em lol.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

I don't think that this has been posted yet; I hadn't seen it before:

So, Lee Unkrich went on a Q & A spree on Twitter today and confirmed A few returning characters. Bo Peep (ah hah!) Wheezy, and RC.
It's still unclear how large a role they'll have, could just be cameoes or flash backs for all we know, but it's a start.
Also he was asked about bloopers this time around, but said answering that would get him fired. I'd like to take that as a yes but I have no real reason to, heh.

I'm just relieved that Bo Peep is returning. Even if she dies at some point during the film, I will be glad to at least see her back.

Hmm...You're right, it does sound like a similar plot does it?jediliz wrote:
The Toy Story 3 plot looks interesting.....something similar to Brave Little Toaster maybe?
Makes me wonder though what will happen to the toys at the end. I hope it's a rather surprising and unexpected thing...but who knows?

No one. It's just a possibility, considering her fragility, status as a lamp instead of a cherished toy, and the fact that she barely appears in the trailer. I wouldn't think that Pixar would want to kill her off, but I can see how it could happen oh so easily....

......
Yep. That's what I meant. Sometimes my brain and fingers don't exactly work together....
But yeah, she doesn't appear at all!

I just hope the toys all stay together at the end. It would be heart breaking if they got split up.
I'm gonna be bawling like a baby at the end of this movie, and I want them to be tears of joy, not tears of sadness lol.

I find that most of Pixar's movies leave me bawling like a baby.... But the ones that do that the most are definitely "Toy Story 2," "WALL-E," and "Up."

I cried:
1. At the "married life" montage in the beginning.
2. When Carl was going through the scrapbook.
3. The scene you just mentioned.
I went with my 5-year-old brother who really just cared about Kevin and the talking dogs, and he was all like, "What are you doing that for?"
Ah well, he'll get it someday.
But yeah.... I can't even watch "Toy Story 2" if I'm in a certain mood.... I'm still kind of getting over a hard break-up from the beginning of the year that actually went pretty similarly to Jessie's relationship with Emily, and how that ended. So.... that makes me cry, and sometimes puts me in a fetal position.
And "WALL-E," well, it's "WALL-E." I don't think anything needs to be said there. EVE humming to WALL-E when she thought he was erased.... that's deeply touching.
Oh Pixar! You're so good at touching the tender emotions of us frail human beings! We bow to your greatness!

I don't have a problem with splitting them up. Yes it would be heart breaking, but that's what movies, pixar ones especially should be doing. They cant all be happy go lucky all the time, and I'm sure there would be a bitter sweet resolution in the end. They would make their separation mean something.

That's a really good point. I don't know, I'm kind of on the fence. I like happy movies that make me feel good, but I also like bittersweet movies that make me cry.... "Toy Story 3" could go either way, and I would be pleased.Kyle wrote:I don't have a problem with splitting them up.
