That's a good way of thinking, but the primary reason why people will go to see a Disney stage show is because they essentially want to see a movie copied on stage with more singing.
"Ta ta ta taaaa! Look at me... I'm a snowman! I'm gonna go stand on someone's lawn if I don't get something to do around here pretty soon!"

Had they just left her wig and skin color the way it is, before the purple. I think it would have looked great....and instead of the green thing going on with the dress...it shoulda been more dark blue and black. Other then that I think she looks okay. Ariel still looks amazing though.

Seriously. Please stop complaning about only LITTLE girls and women being there. I'm sure they're will be FAMILIES and MEN there when it hits Brodway and becomes a HUGE success!

Yeah, I think if someone really enjoys something, they should just enjoy it for what it is and not worry about what everyone else thinks of it, or who else is likes it. Just go with the flow and who cares about everyone else.

No,it's people's fault that they think that Disney is for small children and that the Disney Princesses are for little girls and Disney arn't helping,in fact-they even help it get worse.PeterPanfan wrote:It's not Disney's fault they're attracting women!
I bet there were at least 100 men in each show.
I don't if they were there,i bet there were but maybe a few, unlike a lot of little girls and their perents who was there (from what people and the reviews said).

What do you mean? it's like gay people like the Princesses? if it does, then that nonsense, why? they don't like TinkerBell? or Mickey Mouse? or Winnie the Pooh? or Pirates Of the Caribbean? it's not that gay likes only the Princesses.Dottie wrote:He didn't say they were gay. Absolutely.
The gay male fanbase of Disney is ENORMOUS.
Those princesses are gay icons absolutely.
I know soooo many gays who are fan of the princesses.
Maybe it's because those guys know what true beauty is?

I have to admit, the princesses define beauty for me too. When I think a girl is a beautiful girl, I always realize that she looks like a Disney princess in a way.
Last week I was watching this dvd, and thought the girls playing lucy was so beautiful, and then I thought, why is that? Exactly! beacuse she looks like a Disney princess!!!

The scene I was looking for on youtube was actually "No one knows who I am" but i couldn't find that.
Oh, here it actually is, from 08:30

Maybe gay like the idea of fall in love with a guy like the princess (altouhght it can be also straight guys with girls also) but it's icon for everyone.

I know Disney has a big gay male fanbase, but I honestly never would have thought of the princesses as gay icons! Gay men may like them, but they're never referenced as icons or make appearances in gay culture. Disney Princesses are more icons for little girls (though I hate to admit it).
Anyone can like the Disney princesses like Ariel'sPrince says, but I wouldn't think of them as gay icons. In fact, it's often the villains from the princess movies that gain a gay following - think along the lines of Ursula and Cruella De Vil, but even they don't appear too often.

i think Pirates Of the Caribbean is a girl icon (havn't you noticed all of those girls with "Johnney's hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111").
Everyone can love them, they're characters that inspire people to dream,i think Minnie is more fit to be a little girls icon.

I don't quite understand what you mean by them not appearing in gay "culture." I'm pretty sure they appear in everyone's culture, because nearly everyone's seen their movies (whether they enjoy them or not). Besides, people/things/characters can be icons for more than one group. Look at Dolly Parton. She's a gay icon, a country icon and a plastic surgery icon.I know Disney has a big gay male fanbase, but I honestly never would have thought of the princesses as gay icons! Gay men may like them, but they're never referenced as icons or make appearances in gay culture. Disney Princesses are more icons for little girls (though I hate to admit it).
Well, I'm pretty sure everyone likes Disney Villains as well, so I don't see what difference your making here. Perhaps with the villains there is much more innuendo, but they're not above the princesses as far as gay icons go. They're pretty much on the same level to me.Anyone can like the Disney princesses like Ariel'sPrince says, but I wouldn't think of them as gay icons. I'm pretty sure you read the opposite of everything he said. The Disney Princesses arn't gay,you know what? you really sounds like a troll ("every guy who like Disney is gay"?

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"
I dont know were you got any that you should read what i said better. The Disney Princesses arn't gay,you know what? you really sounds like a troll ("every guy who like Disney is gay"? whatever ,and as well about the Princesses) so whatever
Gay people like all disney but the princesses they love the most i think gay people can relate more with with the princesses like Cinderella being verbaly being abused being treated differently from her step sissters Ariel wanting 2 be a part of a different world but she knows cant because her father will have anger towards her she is treated diff cuz who she is. in the movie when her dad found she loved eric he blew up on her. now how do you think when a guy is in love with another guy how do you think his father think of that hmm? this could explain why 1 of the reasons why cindy and ariel are the top princesses. What do you mean? it's like gay people like the Princesses? if it does, then that nonsense, why? they don't like TinkerBell? or Mickey Mouse? or Winnie the Pooh? or Pirates Of the Caribbean? it's not that gay likes only the Princesses.
Arielsprince i think you might just not like the idea of gay men fawning of the fab 6 or aka the disney princesses... >_>Look,they're not gay icon, everyone wants to ride a magic carpet, befriend animales, swim with fishes and blah, blah, blah.

That is crossing the line. It is immature and insulting and the mods ought to do something about you.The Little Merboy wrote:I always thought ariel'sprince was gay, he always has very girly, gay-ish sets. Either way, he needs to build a bridge, and get over it... And while he's there, he can fix his broken english.
No, its not a stupid debate. The only thing stupid here is the disgusting insulting you are doing. The Little Merboy wrote:P.S. could y'all make a thread for this? Because I keep getting happy thinking, there is new news. And it's just this stupid debate...

The Little Merboy-no,i"m not gay,and it's very instulting and dumb and you're the most immature and insulting i met in the internet.
And amazon-you have a point but the Princesses are for everyone and anyone can look of them differently, they are sutible for everyone.
The Villains too, maybe Flickley (from Lilo and Stitch) is a gay icon.
Anyway this is off topic since it's Little Mermaid on Broadway, not what character is a gay icon.
