buffalobill wrote:Has anyone who bought BOLT early put the code into their DMR account yet? I know someitmes, in the past, I've read of people who tried to enter a code prior to street date & it invalidated the code. If someone has entered it let us know.

I was in Toys R Us today & they didn't have BOLT or Lilo & Stitch out early BUT they did have Bunnytown.
I bought Bolt and Lilo but have not put the codes in yet as to that very reason...the codes may go bad...so.....I've decided not to enter the codes until their original release date this coming Tuesday

and here is my thought process on the early findings of Lilo and Stitch and Bolt

The Wal-mart which i purchased Bolt and Lilo said that their higher up employee was told by Disney to release it on Friday....and maybe only certain store chains were given the green light to put them out early I.E Wal-Mart and apparently Target have them while ToysRus does not.....and I am willing to bet that this was done to do something to the effect of compete with the DVD release of Twilight....

I'm going to stop in at Target tomorrow & if they have them out AND you still get the $10 discount I'll buy Lilo & 2 disc BOLT (dvd). I'll just have to wait until Tuesday for 2 disc Quantum of Solace. I'll also be waiting until Tuesday to enter my codes. Not going to take any chances.

I stumbled across Bolt by accident today at F.Y.E., so I decided to buy it. The Movie Rewards code worked perfectly fine for me.

I don't think it's as much an effort to compete with Twilight as it is an effort to pick up buyers who came in for Twilight. They might see Bolt there and pick it up too, or if Twilight is all out (all the stores I went to had the standard, but I only saw one copy of the Blu-Ray, and that was at Target) they might decide to get Bolt. Just my theory on it.

Anyway, I was rather annoyed. I went to Target today planning to buy it, but they didn't have it out early (Bolt, I mean). This is pretty random it seems, as not all Wal-Marts had it out yet either.

Target seems the place to buy Bolt: The Deluxe DVD is $22.99 and Lilo & Stitch is $15.99, and you save $10 if you buy both, so that's $28.98 total!!! That's such a great deal! I'm still hoping that WDW has the DVDs so I can use my birthday Fun Card, but if they don't have them, I'll be getting them at Target!

No BOLT Blu-Ray @ my Target either. *sigh* I was a little annoyed considering the ad said "AVAILABLE NOW".

It does say in the ad "release dates subject to change"

I found Bolt on Blu-Ray at my local Target today and I bought it. Sadly, I did not hav the 10 coupon, so it came up to about 28.00.

There is a $5 off coupon for the DVD around too (Trying to find a link to print one myself). Should be $23.98 after the coupon if you get the Deluxe Edition or $16.98 if you get the 1 disc version with Lilo and Stitch.

I don't understand why that site requires me to download a coupon printer. I've printed out in store coupons that I have received via e-mail from Barnes and Noble and they scanned them just fine.

I watched Bolt on Blu-Ray today.I thought it was pretty good, obivously not a classic, but it still had some funny and cute moments. I did not really care for Miley Cyrus or her character. The short "Super Rhino" was pretty funny, too.

Lots of sites (especially coupon websites) require you to download a very small program that prints coupons from their sites.

the small program might also be to prevent people printing out the same coupon over and over?

My Best Buy DID have the Bolt Blu Ray, but I want it @ the Target price, so I'll see if they have it on Saturday and still get it at the sale price.

Yeah the coupon program limits how many you can print from a certain PC... I think.

I wasn’t even aware Bolt and Lilo & Sitich were supposed to come out next week. On Friday I went to Wal-Mart and saw a huge display with both Bolt and Lilo & Sitich. I picked up a Bolt Blu-Ray and Stitch DVD. I did not see Bolt in theaters, so I was definitely looking forward to watching it. It’s one of Disney’s best films in a long time.

Mine either! I saw Bolt and Lilo and Stitch at Wal-Mart, but they were expensive there. I'm holding out for Tuesday to get them at Target. They are offering the best price, and I can wait two days.

Yeah, though I'm so eager to get it I might check again tomorrow, or check Best Buy too. Best Buy has that deal where you get 6 dollars off if you buy it with Lilo, which I think works for the Blu-Ray too, and if they'd allow you to get that AND use the coupon, it'd be even a dollar cheaper than Target (though I'm still uncomfortable using coupons at Best Buy for some reason, I guess because it seems like no one ever does). Don't know if you'd be able to take advantage of the 6 dollars off AND the coupon together though, but that'd be sweet. But I don't know if they have them out at Best Buy yet... I don't think I've checked there.

I got Bolt today at Target, after seeing Race to Witch Mountain. There was one copy left of it! Can you believe it?! And I got it! :D

And no, I didn't fight over it with an old lady or a mom, if that's what you're wondering.

Anyways, I gotta say the movie transfer to Blu-ray was pretty awesome. ^_^

And the bonus features are just as good. ;) Though one of the deleted scenes- Dog Fight in Las Vegas- I can understand why it wasn't put into the movie. It seemed pretty dark by Disney standards. :( Not like Black Cauldron dark, but it could be on that level of darkness-toned as well.

I made a little fun review of the blu-ray on DeviantART, by the way. ^_^ http://389.deviantart.com/journal/23838842/
