I wasn't actually referring to you. You make it sound like I have something against you. I was indeed talking in general here because I witnessed this attitude in many other places, not just on this forum.
I understand that you may not like some aspects of the Disney fandom like the "fandom mindset" as you've dubbed it and truthfully, there are some things in the fandom I don't like either. But instead of letting it get to me, I try to ignore it and focus on the positive. You don't like the obsessive behavior that some fans exhibit? Just ignore it. It doesn't personally affect you anyway.

How can someone even appreciate it ? it's out of tune, soundind like a dying cat, and let's pray it's nothing like the Idina and the real song. It's just a kid babbling and playing in front of a camera.
If you expect musical superiority from a pre-schooler, I can't imagine what you expect from Robert Lopez.
I mean, seriously? Everyone's on pins and needles about Frozen, and the lack of intelligible lyrics from the video may have been disappointing, but why insult a child?
wasn't insulting. she's cute. she could be my niece.
Just meant there is no interest in filming, posting or commenting that child just playing and singing nonsense.

I think that Darrin Butters' daughter singing "Let it Go" and knowing that he's an animator at Disney + knowing myself the song, it's really cute and fun! ^^

Yes there is! Because its cute and funny, end of story. The fact that the quality of her singing even crosses anyone's mind just baffles me.

You're right of course. It's just very frustrating to see it get more and more prominent. As a huge Disney fan, and yet still someone who doesn't let it take over my life, it sucks that a large chunk of the general population has put negative connotations on all of us, because of the over-enthusiastic select few. The other day I saw one of those "20 ways to tell if someone is crazy" (or immature or something, I don't remember), and "posting Disney stuff all over their Facebook page" was one of them. But at the end of the day, you're right. I'll ignore it.

I'm happy to know you didn't intend to insult her, but I still think your choice of words were poor. I do agree that the video is mostly worthless for analysis, but then again, UD has never been the kind of forum that polices topics of discussion, so it is what it is. In three more pages, we'll be dissecting something else.

And they shouldn’t really. But leave it to UD to be judgmental about what you can post and how about everything.
I don’t find anything different in this thread than I’ve seen before Harry Potter books, or anything else people get excited about. Really sad when people have to act so ridiculous and superior over something so ordinary.
Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

For example, are the Frozen dolls from the previous page going to be sold at the D23 Expo as a limited edition of some-sort? I know there will be some Disney Fairytale Designer limited editions, such as this Snow White.
I read somewhere that the Frozen dolls were going to be sold as a set.
I figured. See, I would love an Elsa doll, and if they're being sold at D23, I was hoping one might pop up on eBay or something.
Oh well. Here's something to look forward to: at Target and Toys R Us back in 2010, they had these singing Rapunzel dolls as early as October. Because Frozen is a musical, there will most likely be Elsa dolls singing "Let It Go", and Anna dolls singing her solo. Or they both sing the duet.

Oh yeah! That will be great toys for little girls! Esepecially the duet! This reminds me of the Barbie/Princess and the Pauper dolls.
Oh, well, I forgot about the end of the embargo we signed at the last french presentation of Frozen in Paris with Peter Del Vecho as a guest.
Well, I don't know why this date was chosen but I guess probably because of the D23.
I'm sure we'll have anyway some news of Frozen (and other movies ) soon thanks to the D23 Expo, so I'm not sure I can help a lot.
If I'll have time enough, I will share maybe some tidbits but won't spoil the story.
