I got my dvd of Mickey's Twice UPon A Christmas in the mail today.
Today was the first time I ever watched it.
I loved it so much.
I kinda cried though, Maxie has grown up, but we are all growing up so I guess it isn't a major issue.

I love those movies.

My boyfriend popped the Great mouse Detective disc in last night. I'll never get tired of this movie! I got to see it in the theaters when I was ten, so it has a lot of nostolgia factor for me. And I think it holds up really well after almost twenty years. The character designs are solid and very appealing, and the whole thing has some kind of contagious energy going on. I love the fact that we get to hear Vincent Price sing! And the finale is beautifully staged, and I'm not just talking about the well-blended computer animation. I'm still on the edge of my seat every time I watch Ratigan brutally clawing away at Basil on those teetering clock hands.
Good stuff, man.

Well it's not a movie but earlier this evening I watched my Classic Cartoon Favourites Mickey disc. Enjoyable but I would have included one short that I consider my favourite on there. I wish they had it... ah well I have it in my Treasures.
